Yeah the cop died as well as a bunch of civilians. As Mez said we're not that small, I live 200+ miles from that. Thanks for the concern though BK...

I hope this doesn't turn to more hatred but I fear the worst. UKIP will probably have a field day... :p

Very happy your ok!!! Phew. Those poor people. This was the 1st thing I saw on tv 5 mins after waking up and it said an officer was stabbed, wasn't cool at all. I may have voted Trump but never doubt I don't treasure every single friend I have made on here no matter what political or reglious we disagree on. I was very worried!

It's a big world BK, but more connected than ever. You never know if the person you are chatting with is one of the statistics. It happens all the time....

Good luck!

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I made the mistake of checking the Twitter feed about the attack in London yesterday and I got so frustrated, I think I nearly had an aneurysm. How people can be so hateful and self-righteous is beyond me, though I should know better at this point than to read comments / tweets / etc. I'm just waiting for someone to start yelling about building a wall or a moat or whatever.

I really should just stay off Twitter, is what I'm thinking.

ETA: Also, I ran out of coffee. Such a small thing, but it's so annoying, as I'm generally one of those people who pretty much never runs out of anything.

Once again my favourite romance option (so far) doesn't swing my character's way.

The struggle is real.

That's what I did last time. But I really like my female Ryder and unlike previous Bioware games, your gender actually affects your history, dialogue, etc.

But it's okay. I just found an alien that I want to bang even more.

Everyone has their 'thing'. Mine just happens to be banging Bioware characters. What can I say? I don't discriminate against someone just because they're an alien or fictional or any other shallow reason. Love is love, HD. And banging is banging. Claw-hammers and all.

Leisure Suit Larry... oh god, Venge. My 90's teenage is showing again. Lol. Pre-internet is about as good as it gets for bad, bad porn.

Need someone to ask me a/s/l to finish it off.

Thanks, you'd be amazed what people are panic buying at the moment, and the quantities. It's like they expect to have to survive a nuclear winter in their bunker.

I know better safe than sorry, but ... wow.

A client who asks me to do stuff for them based on my portfolio full of stylized/comic-y stuff, then complains it's too comic-y. They also sent me a bunch of examples of which direction they wanted to go, but then it turned out they wanted nothing like that *sigh* Gotta love people sometimes. Well, at least I'm going to be done with them this week.

AT THIS STAGE it's looking like a possible category 4 cyclone hitting us pretty much directly on Mon-Tues. That's worst case. Best case is a LOT of (non-damaging) wind and rain.

I hope it swings in and hits sooner (Sun-Mon) instead of gathering strength and hitting later.

We're pretty much glued to the BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) website and ABC 24. Going to pick up a few extra items in a bit, we already have most of the stuff on the checklist.

Fingers and toes crossed, but jeez, only 2 months after we moved here.

UPDATE

https://twitter.com/...7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

Currently Cat 1, Tropical Cyclone Debbie. Forecast to get to Cat 4 and hit us around 0400 on Tuesday.

This is annoying. I move to Ipswich in Dec 2010 and a month later we have the floods. I move here 2 months ago and this. I'm a damn Jonah. :(

Ouch. That looks nasty. Take care over there. This reminds me of that storm - was it Sidr? It changed the coastline of Myanmar
