There appears to have been a major shooting incident in Florida.

Ugh. Played like total crap today. I should say i'm upset about UA's UEFA performance today, too, but less so than about how I played.

And tomorrow's a day off. Gotta plan it out to make sure I can get the max amoun of work done.

Two of my colleagues were involved in a really serious car accident this morning on their way to work.

Sadly one of them was tragically killed, he was only in his early 20's. The other thankfully is in a critical but non-life threatening condition in hospital.

Mood in the office is sombre to say the least.

To make matters worse this has come mere weeks after a fatal accident on our construction site and a public grilling as the project has been delayed (well not delayed, it will be finished for contractual deadline, but is late based on a previously publicised 'aspirational' deadline)

Some fuckstick cloned my card and spent £150 on Nikestore's website. Santander are investigating as fraud, but I pretty much need that money as it's for my food and bills for the rest of the month. Ugh.

apparently, microsoft did some voodod upgrading of hotmail. As a result, my backup e-mail dating back at least 10 years has been wiped.

I'm sure it was done for my convenience

Yeah it happened to me a few weeks back.
Went to get money out, suddenly my card fails.
Phoned the bank and they said someone had tried to take £200 out in NEPAL!!!!
Obviously my card had been compromised.
I was out here without my card for 3 weeks.
Didn't actually lose any money though.
You should get it back. It was the same bank I had to deal with, and they were sound
Good luck!

Something is happening in my city. UofT, Hospital Row, and Queen's Park are all on lockdown due to a suspicious person in black clothing and a mask is being hunted by police...some reports mention a gun, and one person has been arrested but isn't the guy they are looking for.

Hope it turns out to be nothing, or they nab whoever this guy is.

Apparently lifted now. Appears nothing came of it.

Shots fired in downtown Montreal apparently.

This is going to be one of those weeks...

My sister has zero understanding of the word boundary.

Note to her: If you have to end the sentence with "I hope that's ok" then you already know that everything after the start of the sentence "I did..." is probably going to piss me off.

I just really want someone in my life that I can trust to watch my house without fucking around with things.

F'ing renters.

Anybody wanna buy a bunch of rental properties in Southern Illinois?

They're a breeze to maintain and make you tons of money....

Honest.

Let's just have an all around pissed off day.

Left an employee to sow grass seed at work. I didn't think I needed to tell him not to sow fucking seed in the flower beds.

The way this day is going I'm sure I'll be back later.

Sorry to hear that DH. Sounds like one of those days where you'd just like to "do over".

One more from yesterday.

I hired a local landscaper to build me 4 retaining walls for a house im remodeling on a hill.

He prices me the job at $2500.

Day 2, I tell him I do NOT want to spend more than $2500 on the job. If it gets the price gets higher than that, stop and i'll finish it myself. My budget is TIGHT on this job.

He finishes, looks great.

BTW, your bill is $4900.

Sorry, that shit aint gonna fly, time for a conversation.

All and all a pretty pain in the ass day at work.

Lonely, tired, stressed, etc. Sometimes you wonder how it will ever be put back together again, scar tissue never truly healing.

Apparently a child died from an alligator attack at Disney World in Florida? What was an alligator doing inside Disney World?
