Fuck sales & marketing. Came over to do a photoshoot today. All well and good. Then set up right next to my desk and start blasting away at one of the other nearby ones. Due to my photophobia it felt like I was being punched every time... lost 45 minutes of work off of it.

Why do women on Facebook need to end every post to each other with "hun". And is just because I'm a meanie bitch that it annoys me so much?

Dropping the kids off with their mom after watching them for the weekend. It is lonely moments like this that almost make me feel like giving up on the divorce, knowing this is not going to end anytime soon. Tired and depressed.

I electronically signed the paperwork for one of those silly 30/60 day programs a few minutes ago.

Suits upstairs can be a pain sometimes.
"Why is this no longer on your process list?"
Because we cannot do the thing for reason.
"But why can you not do the thing for reason?"
Because it's outside of our remit, training and access to resource.
"I don't see a valid reason why you can't do this."

Had 2 games last night, second ended @ 1210 AM.
My friend who was supposed to give me a lift home didn't come to the game. I had a backup-on of the guys from my first team was driving Uber after the Superbowl game. So I call him up. He's downtown, it'd take him about 40 min to come by. I decide to walk to the main street, take the bus back home (20 min walk, and then another 15 or so when I get off the bus. Check the schedule, last bus is @ 1.05, no worries. Get to the stop @ 12 47. Call my uber-driving friend, telling him i'm all set. I wait.
1 AM passes by. I get the horrid suspicion: check again: yep, I was looking @ the MONDAY schedule. Facepalm. Check Sun: last bus was at 1159. Start walking south. Try to call my frined again. He picked up another drive.
Long story short- I walked good 5-6 clicks, after playing 2 games. My friend picked me up at a gas station on the way around 1 53. I was home by 2, showered and abed by 215, not really able to feel my feet.
4 hours of sleep later, off to work. STILL feel the tingling type of soreness in both feet.
I'm getting too old for this crap. On the bright side, both my teams won.

Gawd that makes so little sense to me and I wrote it.
48 hours from now I'm self-referring myself to one of those places where they try to teach you that there is a reality that exists without benefit of recreational pharmaceuticals, alcohol, etc.
And they 'strongly discourage' internet capable devices to the point of taking them away from you until you leave. She implied quite heavily that cell blockers were utilized in some parts of the campus. (Yes, it's private pay and the contract has more pages than an Apple EULA.)
The upside? Two more nights of fun!

Sounds like a pain management program.
Only thing I'm gonna tell you about that. A LOT of it is mental and depends on your attitude.
There's no certainty you'll get better. But I can practically guarantee that if you don't find a way to not think about pain all the time, it will progressively get worse over time.
My grandmother is struggling with neuropathy due to bad back. She's pushing 80, and she's stubborn and it's incredibly difficult to talk sense into her to get her out of her comfort zone, even to make sure she stick to her exercises.
All the best, Gnaw, we are 100% behind you.

Books! Ink on paper!
They're banning iPads etc. I need replacements asap.
My first impulse is the The Expanse series given how well done the tv show is.
My second impulse is yet another attempt at Hobbes' Leviathon, Machiavelli's The Prince, and Adam Smith.
Sagan's The Demon Haunted World as a counter-slap to their big blue book is of course mandatory...

What the fuck is wrong with these people.
How the fuck is a person supposed to get past pain/addiction if they can't distract themselves?
Otherwise, best of luck to you in this endeavor.
PS. Please tell me they have a library or something on campus, because fuck them if they expect people to stare at walls for sixty days.

Grumpy about tonight. Watching the kids (which i am very happy about) while the wife has a night with her friends after a bad and long day. She said she would have lasagna made tonight. Get here, the youngest is screaming on the floor, no lasagna even started, so.... cereal for dinner. Glad I did her a solid. Grrrr
All that said, I am happy to see my boys and play trains with them.

I am assuming these are bugs and not actually short sighted and clumsy birds of prey?
