Been expecting a code for a group suit hire for around four months now for my sister's wedding, paid for and all. Finally get a message through about it.

Wouldn't you know it, it turns out it's not a group hire which means I have to fund it myself. And being that my means are few, that means no saving for my own wedding for at least two months. Which puts us back substantially being that I can barely save for the wedding as is.

And they wonder why I'm narked about it.

Quit bitching about the cost and come down with the flu the day of the wedding. *shrug* Statistically she's bound to have another wedding in the future and maybe you'll have more money for that one.

Threw my back waaaaay out. I have barely been able to walk for three days now. I should be less old and more not fat. Oh yeah, and I should have skipped sports injuries when I was younger. Then I would be fine. Also, no scoliosis would help too.

Kind of a meh birthday. Wife not feeling all that well and just didn't feel all that special (kind of inline with your burned tongue Rodeo, definitely not some of the earlier woes...)

Good. Apt wanted your rep though.

Snitches get stitches

I just wanted to take care of Bubba's legacy.

Am I the only one who REALLY cares about Bubba('s rep)?

Shouldn't this go in the happy thread? :p

Except for Apt; he just lost the chance to bump his rep a bunch. He did call dibs on yours.

Chicago style of Citation. The most impertinent, retarded, useless form of citation known to mankind. Making people use it should be considered cruel and unusual punishment.

HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Just got back from 4 hours at A&E with my youngest.
He's broke his arm just above the elbow and will need K-Wire surgery tomorrow. I'm absolutely gutted.
I thought it was dislocated at the elbow it was just flopping, around. The pain he must have been in, I can't imagine.

Get well soon son. Love you.

Longest 2 hours of my life waiting for my son to come out of theatre.
He's fine though.
Just the road to recovery to travel now.....

I hate being color blind. I have lived with this condition forever and usually I don't care. But recently I went shopping for my girlfriend and the shopkeeper was showing me seven different color variations of the same item, but I could only see three colors. I kind of had to take his word for the color combination and hope my girlfriend liked it. For the first time in my life I felt disabled.
