This really ain't my lucky season.. Everything's breaking with me having no money to replace stuff.. Now my favourite, most loved, holy-shit-how-am-I-supposed-to-live-without boots seem to be beyond repair.. Now, I'm not the clingy type, if it breaks and is beyond repair it gets thrown away, but by all that is holy, not my boots, please! We've lived through too much together!

I dont feel like I ask a lot from my friends, but at the very least I would like the people I call my best friends to remember what today is. By memory, on calendar, I dont care how.

I know it sounds like I"m being picky, but because i don't have a FB, I go to the effort of putting all their days on my calendar and shit. I dont want presents or anything, and I hate bringing up when someone forgets shit, so I dont want to... because it feels worse to get a 'happy birthday!' AFTER i had to remind someone. Like... it's just crappy, really. And I'm disappointed. And like I already said, I just didn't think this was going to happen because I thought they'd care enough.
I mean, maybe it's just me, and I'm being stubborn or ridiculous... I just don't feel like I am because I really really don't expect much from people. A little consideration is all. And I think a part of me is bewildered, because these people are really dear to me, so I'm starting to question whether they feel the same about me, and if not, then why?

Oh yeah, and thing that brought me to this thread: I didn't get the job I was after. On the bright side they asked me to apply for stuff that comes up with them in the future, just that the successful applicant had more experience than me. Bastard.

Told today that we actually get paid the first Friday of the month after the 7th, not the first Friday.
which is total horseshit because I've been paid before the 7th before. Normally I wouldn't mind waiting but last month had a lot of expensive bills paid so now I cant post off my trade recognition forms incase the payment with it bounces, which will leave me sitting twiddling my thumbs for an extra week when I land in Canada.
to top that off they decided this morning that the sites closed tomorrow and theyre cutting our hours. Despite the fact that the job has to hand over in 8 weeks and is already massively behind schedule.
its like the main contractor wants to get fined for a fucking over run.
