As for what's messing with my groove: A friend and I were gonna have video game night at my place tonight. Now, however, he wants us to go to a pub instead. And he was pretty damn adamant about it. Said we can hit my place up later. Yeah right. Dammit. I'm going to spend the whole evening convincing him that it'd be much more fun to play video games than to be out on the town.

I brought a coupon in for a $14.95 oil change. That's fucking CHEAP, and my AC isn't blowing cold and Louisiana is already warming up after we hit noon or so. So he tells me he put in 1 tank of freon with no change and my car can hold 3 tanks 1=$25. So I tell him to put in 2 till I can get back and I'd figured getting 2/3 would cool it down nicely till I got it all...but no change at all.

If 2nd place tells me I need 3 tanks tomorrow then I guess I ll know if I was fucked over.


You can usually find online how much refrigerant your car takes, so that's usually a fool proof way to seeing if they're bullshitting.

I'm far from an AC mechanic, but logical reasoning says that if you got it 2/3 full, it should blow cold.

Oil change though... shame on you for not knowing how to do that yourself :D

No video game night this week either. Went to the pub yesterday, hoping that against all odds we might come back to my place to play some games later, but we ended up at another guy's house instead. Damn I hate pubs. I don't see how people can like them. They mess with video game night. This world would be a better place without pubs..I also broke my eight-month streak of not setting foot in a pub. So wasn't worth it. Now I'll be grumpy for a few days, at the very least.

Edit: I guess this at least gives me some time to catch up on my reading. I've barely gotten 600 pages into Toll the hounds, and I've been reading it for something like 3 weeks.
