I have no time for sewing anymore, so had to let someone else patch a hole in my favourite pair of jeans. Those look awful now. Will have to redo that myself; great, just what I need right now with almost no pair of pants left that fit me :)

Dislocated the tip of my left little finger yesterday. Smarts a bit and I may have to keep it in a splint for 6 weeks if the scans come back with the worst case scenario.

Going to make driving to Victoria on Monday/Tuesday rather fun. I'm down there in Wodonga for 7 weeks on course. :)

I've had to use one of my vacation days at work because there is a family meeting with social services about my young teenaged cousin (who is in Foster care because her mother, my aunt, is a delinquent) and my sister doesn't trust my mother and her family to support the girl enough...and is afraid she'll mouth off to my mum and wants my moral support...I'm fine with going to help in any way I can...but having to take a vacation day is annoying.

Been on an exercise kick the last several months and recently switched to riding a bicycle around town as a "healthier" option than driving.
My foot slipped today while peddling to lunch and got stuck between the wheel spokes causing me to fall down in traffic. Now I'm bruised all over and my foot hurts like hell. I think it's sprained.
So much for healthy living.

That's why I always recommend people just get fat. There's no downside, plus you get the cushioning.

Damn, I'm all over the place today.

I went to staples to get a poster printed and forgot my usb, so had to go back home to get it (it was outside the house on the driveway) When I came back to staples I chose the more expensive "faster" choice to get shit printed instead of going home and waiting for a call. I get it printed and I realize I forgot my usb at the store. Time to go back there again.

AHHHHHH!!!

I'll have an exam in a few hours (Chemistry of organic materials), but i've spent 99% of my time in the last few weeks reading Wot and dresden files. (and the remaining 1% sleeping)

Rain and overcast skies in general. Don't think I've seen the sun for more than five minutes since I got back from Oz.

Fantastic. I can finally meet up with my aunt there that I've been meaning to visit. She owns a cow, although she's a bit a of a loon. See ya in a few.

When I get a sinusitis it somehow always manages to get into my nasopalatine duct which causes my hard palate to swell (now before anyone tells me it's a cyst I've been checked before when this happened in the past and there is no cyst).
In the past this swelling turns into an abscess that I can empty once (sometimes twice) then I'm done.
This time though it's re-swollen three times (and on its way to four) so I've applied more effort into emptying it. Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of space in there for what is coming out and it is not a pleasant feeling to empty it.

Turns out that dislocated finger tip is actually a decent break, with one part of the break sitting on top of the other part instead of them being aligned.

Spent half the day at the hospital only to be told a specialist can't do the op until Wednesday. Looks like resetting and pinning. Yuck. :)

There goes that course, now I'll have to wait for the next one (April - May), which unfortunately falls during Victorian winter (April - October). :D

Oh well it could have been worse I guess. It could have been my right hand and there would go my sex life ...

I missed seeing Neil Gaiman 'cause I'm stuck up here in QLD. Fuck everything.

Also, I went a bit too hard on a punching bag and my knuckles are bloody and scabbed. Yee-ouch.

Pick up some wraps or gloves. Both, preferably. Should set you back $40, but will save you tons of bloody knuckles and possibly sprained/hurt fingers and wrists.
