It was a whole merger thing and she doesn't like that our team does team stuff and doesn't invite her team. And she decided yelling at me, the new girl would help her somehow. Now most of my team just doesn't like her.

2 yell back: GTFO
3 let her join and try to be nice... (hard)
4 ignore her compleatly (hard)

Completely bombed my last chem quiz somehow, despite knowing the material well enough to get a perfect score. 72/100

Well, today, in my usual naively altruistic manner, I tried to save someone from drowning, just to have that person thinking now I was trying to push their head benath the surface. :p You know those situations, when you see someone digging their own grave with their mouth open wide, and your gentle heart just can't keep watching that brutal self-mutilation, and you step in and give your best to drag them out of the pile of shit they had already buried themselves in, signalling with your hands, feet, eyelashes that they should shut up, but they just give you those evil looks, totally insulted that you are trying to interrupt them, and when the hammer falls, they blame you for their bleeding head? :p

I feel soooo misunderstood right now...
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Oh no poor Dag! Well your intentions were good and that's what matters! It's not your fault! As RLY stated we here in the Malazan Empire understand you perfectly! *Big hugs*

Sorry I was tired and feeling like crap when I wrote the reply last night. Basically at the beginning of this year two faculties were merged into one, which is the one I now work for. Some staff from both faculties are now working together here, some staff left in a huff and some staff moved jobs to somewhere else in the uni. This particular woman stayed and doesn't like that the team i work for, who are on the same floor of the building, don't include her and the team she works for in OUR team social activities.

Now cos of all this the Change Manager and Dean are doign all these morning teas and lunches, which I have to organise. BAH!

I just got flashed on the subway! An ugly greasy man kept waving his knob at me and wanking under his coat. I feel so unwell. There were 3 women in the carriage and just him. We women all ended up huddled at one end while he looked at us and fondled himself. SO not cricket!

You should have assisted his gesticulations with your boot. Assuming you could find a plastic bag to cover your boot with - no sense in getting filthy-old-man-coat on your footwear.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

That would have involved getting closer to the leering slimeball and getting a better view. Oh god, I feel sullied! He kept flapping his coat around and waggling it about to make sure we all knew what he was doing. I hope it rots off.

NY subways are notorious... but they used to be far worse, evidently. Tell a police officer... that's public indecency.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I always wish I could see that happen.

I'm convinced that flashers are urban legends. It's so cartoony.

Why have I never been flashed by a greasy hobo? :ball:

I'd love to be in the vicinity of this. Just to get up in his face and beat his ass. It's so absolutely repulsive.

Messing with my groove: I'm failing math with As in other subjects. It's the only thing stopping me from Graduation.
I still heart Goodkind.

Either I'm hallucinating, I've gone colourblind or I've just PISSED ACTUAL FUCKING BLOOD. I'm going to go to bed, and go to the doctor in the morning unless someone persuades me I'm being a hypochondriac between now and when I wake up.

No. You should probably begin praying, even if you don't believe. Trauma to the ding-a-ling is not a thing to sleep on.
