It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Isn't that the major think Kant is known for?

and it's something along the lines of "morals differ b/w people depending on who applies them to whom. "

Ouch you're lucky you didn't lose an eye Bubbalicious! Hope it feels better soon! Maybe you should pick some drops up for that if it's still bothering you...

In playing casualty for a Combat First Aiders course yesterday, I copped one hell of a sunburn on the upper half of my chest, which formerly hadn't seen the sun in about 10 years. :p

Stupid taking stupid shirts off for stupid fake stupid abdominal wounds. 9 times in a day. For about 20 mins at a time.
And the cheap bastards didn't even tip me. :X

So now I have a lovely two-tone torso, half pasty white, the other half lobster red. The worst part is that we were supposedly in the shade!

IT BURNS US IT DOES, WE HATES IT!!! :X

Cheers,

My groove is disliking my lungs at the moment :X I has a cold :X

Edit: Sombra, sounds like fun :p You will soon be a pretty rainbow coloured person... you just need some purple (worse sunburn), blue (get really cold... or bruised) and green (erm... get sick? or mouldy?) :p

You were THIS close to becoming a pirate.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Messing with my groove? Everything. EVERYTHING. This word hates me, gods are plotting against me, random incidents and accidents keep happening wherever I go, old corpses popping out of their graves, fresh corpses piling up around me, other people's mistakes coming to haunt me, bad luck following me every step of the way, and my poodles LEFT ME - yes, they LEFT ME and now I have to find new ones, and that is again a LOT OF WORK that keeps me busy and doesn't allow me to go and curl up in the corner and cry big emo tears over my luckless, pointless, miserable, shitty life... AAAARGH!!! :X :X :p

*slaps herself and takes a deep breath*

Well... now...

@Sombra: My sincere commiserations - I've been cancelling one trip after the other due to work in the past few months, so I can understand your frustration. I hope things get sorted out in the end and you still have time to visit the Old Continent...

@Bubba: Ouch... that looks bad. :p Hope your eye gets better soon.

@Hinter and Traveller: Best luck to both of you, guys! I hope things work out well with your jobs..
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Christ do I ever hate Firefox combined with a tiny keyboard.

I hit some random combination off Keys by accident on my Eeepc and now my font has permanently changed in firefox. I tried changing it in preferences but didn’t work and there’s no restore default either.

Also it can’t handle youtube, crashes after a video or none even.

Fuck you Mozilla.

Anything in Character Encoding that could help?

Testing...

Ok, well I just began mashing the buttons in the area of the ones I thought I hit and it seems to have worked.
Still the fact that the problem could not be solved by you know using the CHANGE FONT function is a MAJOR failing on Mozilla's part.

I have an epic sickness... the day was ruined... i spent my day crippled on a couch bathed in sweat, and my own indignity...

i am getting slightly better, but my head is aching and I am still dehydrated from other complications of said sickness...

Don't cry! You'll dehydrate yourself even more!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Work today sucks :p

Woman came in here all annoyed and I copped the brunt of it. She can't cope with change and thought she woudl get annoyed with all of us for having a team lunch or a cake for someones birthday! That coupled with a boss in a bad mood and lots of random stuff coming up that needs to be dealth with, makes for feeling icky. And I got mu flu shot so I am headachey and my arm hurts :p
