Dunno, buy him a stripper or something.
As for his state: it's been scientifically proven that guys tend to be more broken up after a breakup than gals. A guy's partner becomes, over time, a very strong element of his self, a large part of who he is. Losing that we lose our identity and get seriously confused with the world, as well as lose tremendous amounts of self-worth. We also don't tend to confide in friends (guys don't really talk about feelings, at least most that aren't me ;)), you're more likely to see alcohol. But he'll get over it. And quite frankly, he shouldn't show you any weakness, but that's just my pov.

Hell. People say that unrequited love is like suffering a breakup without having the advantage of actually being in a relationship, and it took me 2 years to get over one.

Well, it can't be a high end one as I'm a bit short on cash. Maybe Craig's list can help me with that :p

And you might be right about all that. Right now he seems very engulfed with his own pain and drama, and doesn't really think about what he says...I think.

But I have other things to worry about...like monies, and where the hell I'm supposed to live :)

I would also like to add women to the current burning tyre-yard of messed grooves. Nothing major, but enough to cause me some indecision. And that I don't like. With any luck I can make some conclusions tomorrow.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

So there I am at the Roger Waters concert, the mood and the setting are astounding. And for some god awful reason all I could hear in my head for straight fucking 15 minutes is

SHUT UP WOMAN GET ON MY HORSE......

god that shit is a virus...
When a man lies he murders
Some part of the world
These are the pale deaths which
Men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear
To witness any longer
Cannot the kingdom of salvation
Take me home

^^^ Well, even at a Roger Waters concert the universe pretty much covers everything.

Were there flying pigs? Did the wall gradually get built? (and come tumbling down?)

"good by cruel world, i'm leaving you today, goodbye, goodbye.... good bye."

see well its pretty irritating to hear that (and visualize) that man and his horse going on and on and on and on when there are planes being shot down and flying pigs goings around ;)
And yes it was all there mechanical giants, flying evil pigs, authority bashing, the whole thing...pretty awesome with some very touching moments.

My bro has gotten golden syrup all over the damn bathroom, on the light switch, the taps, the fucking toothpaste bottle. Waking up to go to the toilet, groggy from having fallen asleep with large headphones and music on to put your hand in a puddle of syrup is not fun and neither is discovering he also managed to steal both sets of your ipod charger leads. And small set of earphone (fourth set I've broken in three months, one of them has stopped working).

I'm sure when I've gotten a proper sleep I'll laugh at this but right now not so much since I am struggling to get back to sleep and I can't wash that sticky/sugary feel off my hands.

I'd value the authority bashing a lot more if Roger had actually ever done anything positive about it, wasn't so godawful stinking rich and wasting shitloads of cash on that spectacle. But hey it's kinda like a U2 concert - go for the music, tune out during the (rather hypocritical) sermon. Like I did.

So... I have $14 in my bank account. And I really, really, really, really, really wanted to go visit my friend this weekend, but the train ticket was $32 to book early (now it's $44) and nobody, all week, has been willing to lend me the money to go.

So, it looks like I'll be going nowhere.
EDIT -- FRIEND CAME THROUGH FOR ME - ON THE WAY

Very sore throat kept me awake all yesterday, and stopped me at about three hours sleep today. Fed up of lying in bed doing nothing.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Well to be honest I dont really care much about what he does with his money ;) and it wasn't much of a sermon rather than flashes of images or small clips but it had a nice message and Roger could suffocate with his money for all I care.
still good music and a good time.. so yeah..

The number one team in the comp and our first loss of the year is to Essendon?

THE EMBARRASSMENT, IT BURNS

Still, at least it wasn't Gold Coast.

He is...nineteen, probably (brilliant sister here) but he is a lot larger and meaner than I am, not that this stops us exactly but we argued a couple of days ago and mum got angry and by God no one wants that her side of the family are known for their tempers. I'll get him back without him knowing it, he's a lot more direct when he is angry, I'm just a horrible sneaky older sister :p.

My brother's favourite method for tormenting my sister was to replace everything on her hard drive with lesbian porn, but I doubt that'll phase him all that much. He might even thank you for it. :no

Replace his lube with Deep Heat. Or Voltaren Emulgel - all the effect, none of the giveaway smell. :p
