MORROWIND. RAWR. BEST GAME EVAR. (Though granted, for an isometric RPG, Baldur's Gate was bloody good...I preferred Planescape, though, :D)

BALDUR'S GATE II. OWNS. MORROWIND'S. ASS. End of story. Mind, I wouldn't expect the class required to appreciate classic isometric RPGs from an Elder Scrolls sandbox junkie :D

Being said, I will grant Planescape the edge in plot, and BGII the dge in scope and, well, everything else. Damn good game. I still miss Morte...

BGII wasn't that good, imo. And you can't argue lack of isometric appreciation when I just stated that I like BG and P:T, good sir. :D And I do love me a good sandbox game - they often suffer in the story stakes, true, but really...the freedom! The options! Besides, I'm really only a Morrowind junkie. Daggerfall and Arena are too old/different/massive (in Daggerfall's case)/text-based for me to love. And Oblivion...ugh. Such a disappointment once you get past the shiny. >.<

Planescape also has the edge in not being a direct D&D setting, btw. Because they are sooooo overdone. XD

Incidentally, I think we are swerving waaaaaaaaaaaay off topic here, lol.

Welcome to Morrowind, love... Enjoy your stay.

:D

However, I am still disappointed that you have not put aside Morrowind and moved to BGII!
Have some PRIDE in your gaming, Loki!!

It probably has something to do with your expectations: going from a controller to a keyboard+mouse is bad enough...can you imagine going from a controller to a click-fest like BGII? :S

Besides, you can't honestly consider Morrowind a bad game, can you? It's definitely a GOOD game, and to most it's a GREAT game...or are you too much of an old-skool elitist to admit that? :D

Came back from the city most of my family live in, after visiting both my grandmothers. Well, one of them, the other had already been visited by my aunt earlier and was too tired for any other visitors. Neither are well. Best case scenario? Months.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Awww Illy that sucks. :D

Yesterday I felt disappointed but relatively calm. Now the foul, spitting hostility and anger that results from a break-up is coming into being.

And on Easter of all days!

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

@Illy - My thoughts are with you, mate. There's nothing worse then knowing someone you care about is seriously ill and not being able to do anything about it.

@Ain't - I think this is one of those occassions where you just go with the feelings and let yourself be pissed. You've every right to feel how you do and if anyone tells you otherwise tell them to go screw themselves, you're the one hurting, not them.

@Mentalist - Don't panic! You've gotten this fair - so unless you cheated your way to this point, you deserve to be here. Do you really think you could make it this far only to suddenly no longer have what it takes? You can do this! Hell, you could have done it yesterday but you have 2 more days to prepare, to collect your thoughts and make your plan of attack. No pesky arse test is going to stop you! So chin up, panic off, and get to it, boy!

My mood is messed by Morrowind and my awesome ability to get lost...and lost...and lost. I decided to counter this by watching tv while I walk and walk and walk but during the night whilst I slept all my dvd's disappeared (i.e got packed) - all that remains is Event Horizon (awesome! but not daytime viewing) and the entrie Stargate series.......If I start to watch SG-1 i'll have to keep watching it and I have already given three months of my life to the series in the past....the evils of PC gaming.

ARGH. ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH. BANDWIDTH CAPPED. THE PAIIIIIIIIIIIIN. I can hardly freaking load a page, let alone actually browse the web. Took me fifteen minutes to get the last page of this thread to load, then the fast reply box still wasn't done and I had to reply to a post to get the editor. FML. And it's like 4 days until my cap resets.

I. HATE. DATA. CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Guess I won't be around much the next couple of days, unless I get lucky and they lift it for the final three days like they sometimes do (apparently). UGH.

Oh joy, what do you know, it also double-posts me. Sigh.

And yeah...DOWNLOAD THE WHOLE NET WHILE YOU CAN. SERIOUSLY. This sucks...still, I'm going to use the fact that I'm over allowance as an excuse to torrent as much as I can while not worrying about size. Try and squeeze some good out of this situation...though running torrents is going to make the damn net slow to a WORSE CRAWL. *sigh*
