Goddamn, we tied. we were winning 2:0, but then our line got screwed up, cuz of the 3 people up, no one knew which one was playing mid.

I sat by on the bench, resting, as they scored 2 goals in a 3 on 1 situation, cuz we had one defender back.

and then when we get a 2 on 1 breakaway,, I mess up the pass and the shot goes to the goalie.

god-friggin-damnit, we should've won this game....

Attacked by a squirrel (read, climbed up my leg, inspected one hand for food vigorously, climbed across my family jewels, scrabbled at the other hand, then ran down the other leg) and stung/bitten twice by an insect that got in my shirt. I caught it when it bit me on the elbow.

It was 29 degrees today for the first time in months. Unwelcome change.

Also, school athletics tommorow. I don't mind that much, but it goes from 1pm to 5:30pm. That's practically the whole day.

when I worked at a waterpark a few years back, we had a squirrel get inside the switchboard and suicide there, shorting out the entire park for 2 days.
The sad part was that we kept the park open, despite lack of working waterslides or filtration in pools.

Minor annoyance of the day: my mother lent me her wig for tomorrow, which is cool, but it's been lying around somwhere in her wardrobe for ten years or more.. So I decided to wash it. Now I have a brunette wig with grey streaks, which aren't pronounced enough to look intentional.

My mom's amused, I - not so much.
