Checking the options for concerts is massively messing with my groove. The next two months are bound to suck balls bigtime. A lot of the fun stuff has been sold out since december, and while I figured that good stuff would crop up, I was wrong.

In May, the only not-sold-out ones I'd go to are
- Rahzel (who is bound to disappoint as live hiphop usually does),
- Felix da Housecat (who is bound to perform in front of the cool kids bouncing around on a mix of coke, speed and alcohol. Ehm, who am I kidding, I can do that too....)
... and that's all for may.

The prospects for June aren't much better:
- Cypress Hill (they're bound to attract a bad crowd, and live hiphop usually sucks).
- Uffie (see Felix da Housecat), but she probably has like an hour of stage time before others take over.

my favorite little dance festival in september charges 40 euros for entry and all the afterparties are already sold out, with nothing known of the lineup yet. Boooo.

It's tough, I tell you, TOUGH.

My mom, as usual. Who the heck told her to interfere with my plans for my birthday? I told her like ten times I'm not sure if I even want to have a birthday party [which I hadn't had for years, so this is bound to be indicative of this year's choice]. But still she went on and invited people to my not-to-be-happening-for-sure-now-that-she-did-this party. Now I'm looking like a social idiot even more than usually for having to.. uhm.. un-invite said people. Thank you, mom :D

Felix Da Housecat is brilliant. If you're lucky he'll bring Miss Kittin along...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. He is, and no, it's highly unlikely she's coming along :D she was here in March, and sold out within a day.

I HATE PACKING AND MOVING HOUSE!!! I have decided to throw out most of my belongings. It's just easier that way! And rather hilariously, most of my electronic equipment is so old and crappy that even the charity shop doesn't want it. In my face!!

Had a rather nice curry last night. Why is this messing with my groove? Well, 24 hours after eating it I'm still feeling the after effects and burning sensation in my butt...

My right shoulder is killing me because of having to haul groceries home. I use cloth bags and normally it doesn't bother me but my closest grocery store had to close for a while because the condos on top caught fire and the water damage in the grocery store was (apparently) epic. So now the closest decent one is about a 10 minute walk away and that's just long enough to give me some serious shoulder pains. For some odd reason it seems to affect the right shoulder more than the left...

I don't have a car so I have no other option than hauling my food home like a mule. And no, I am not getting one of those granny carts either! ;)

Damned snooker final. It's getting late here, but it's too addictive to turn off and yet I do not want to turn the recorder on. Also, why the fuck did Robinson come back to the table when that frikkin' pink was right there in the jaws of the pocket? I swear, that aussie is planning to go on until Dott falls asleep in his chair.

BURN HIM
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
