I have been awake for 24 hours straight. Was on guard duty (not as onerous as it sounds) from 7am yesterday, and you stay at the guard room for the whole 24 hour period. There are beds, but there are always some of us who just can't sleep for various reasons.

But do we get the next day off, like what used to be the case up until a couple of years ago? Nooooooo ... we roll straight into another work day. I just want to go home and fall into bed.

On the plus side I brought my laptop with me and have been killing a lot of time surfing the net.

It's a Medieval era based RPG, mostly played on horseback. It's very good and addicting, but it seems that every time I begin to build up a nice army and start doing well money wise, someone attacks me and I lose, and that means I lose most of my army at least half my money and I lose renown as well... That means I have to start building my army from scratch again and this is problematic in that I now have no money... I think now I have an idea of what the game entails I might start again and see if I fare better!

Not much is messing with my groove right now.

You need at least one hero in your company with loads of path-finding. That way you'll quite easily be able to slip away from the big and scary people, while also be able to catch up with the bands that you'd be able to handle.
