What's messing with your groove?

I agree with Malan that black widows are genuinely beautiful when you see them in person (at least the female ones), but they are like lab-designed to hit almost every fear button in an arachnophobe (I'm not too severe, as I can handle little cuties like the wolf spider and big fat uglies like the sun spider we also have around here).
Anyway, in terms of my groove, I spent all day in the ER in pain, w/ the ultimate diagnosis: kidney stone. It's small but apparently a nasty one. I am not looking forward to peepeeing it out.

See the trick is to be introverted and stay in doors all day. That way you can't be challenged to a blood duel every other day.

On the kidney stone topic.
Drink lots of water (over your active day, try to pace it and drink 6 to 8 liters a day), and work cranberry juice into your regimen.
On the bright side. Modern medicine has extended lives to regularly reach nonagenarian status, so you will be ahead of the curve in knowing the feeling when the eventuality of a catheter becomes part of your routine.

I don't think drinking 6-8 liters of water a day is recommended. Not unless you're travelling through a desert or something like that. It's more like 2-3 liters. Bit more if you exercise a lot.
You'll probably be doing more harm than good drinking that much. You're flushing out salts and other weird body stuff. Might even get water poison.

Yah, from what we get taught Apt has the right of it.
Everyone is different though, but I would suggest 6-8L is at the very high end. Like a big guy who does heavy work outdoors all day in high humidity.
You'd need to drink a lot of electrolytes too.
"Normal" activity would suggest 2-3L, but essentially we get told to drink when you're thirsty. No "water discipline".

It came out like 10 minutes ago after a very painful few days. But not really any wiener pain, all the worst of it was kidney and ureter. I didn't have any cranberry juice, but I did drink lots of water and took a shot of apple cider vinegar (blech). It wasn't 8 liters pf water, but a decent amount. I live in the Mojave, so every move I make is "traveling through a desert"
.

Apple cider vinegar is a good addition to supplement your healthy nutrition routine. It can erode tooth enamel if taken straight though, so dilute it in water. Make something akin to a tea and add a little honey.

Olive oil also works. 'Mix it with other food types to balance pH levels. Example, with olive oil to create a salad dressing.'

I'd advice Worry to drink 6-8 liters of olive oil a day.

Work have now said that our practice area has retention scheme until December. But they're not taking on any new work in my field below multi-track value, so the entire practice area is basically folding and I'm going to be forced to find a new job within the next half year.
Fun it ain't.
