Yay, forum's back on.

Anyway, there I was at Trackside Music Festival yesterday. Like I've already said (twice), this festival was shaping up to be the best music event of the year. For me, anyway. So I got there early to see some of the support acts and Tame Impala, who had somewhere they needed to be shortly afterwards. My gf, wanting to see the more hop-hop oriented acts like Hilltop Hoods, ambled off with her friends to enjoy the sun and copious amounts of booze. My gf is an incredible lightweight, and needless to say passed out after a few hours of drinking straight vodka and a full sack of goon. I hadn't yet gotten the chance to see the bands I most wanted to see - Karnivool and Parkway Drive - when I get a call from the selfish bitches that are her friends, asking me to come and take her home while they went and saw some other acts. So, gallant knight that I am, agreed and drove home, planning on heading back hopefully in time to see Karnivool. However, her roommate is off being a toolie in Queensland at the moment, and I couldn't really leave her alone in her flat passed out in a drunken stupor, so had to stay and take care of her. I ended up missing the rest of the festival, and couldn't do an end-of-exam pub crawl, which depresses me.

Hopefully I can get her to repay me in some way for my selflessness. :(

@Centz: Aaawww, I recommend that you balance a tub of icecream on the burnt spot. ;-)

I broke one of the glass shelves in my fridge last night. The light in the fridge has never worked so I felt fonfident that I could navigate correctly while rummaging for a can of beer. I tipped a small bottle hot sauce that fell down and crashed trough the last shelf. Now I have to pay for a new shelf as I am leaving this appartment in a months time. :(

Strange man asking for a date on the bus. There is a fine line between romance and freakish behaviour. He may have thought he was being impulsively charming but he came across more like an obsessive murderer. Plus, he was a bit rough looking and I'm worried I am getting to an age that I can only attract the crazies!

As long as they weren't trying to convince you the Freemasons were after them, they don't count as crazy!

My roommate is being a woman, no offense ladies. He's just being inscrutable and moody.

He's bored because he doesn't call anyone when he's bored. But he gets mad when nobody invites him out, when he's bored. Which makes him no fun to be around, so nobody wants to hang out with him. A vicious cycle.

Ok. Heres what you do: Extend your arm, relax your fingers, raise your arm, swing. Aim for the soft flesh on the cheek. Call him a bitch and tell him to quit whining. Repeat as necessary/desired. He'll thank you. Or hit you. But at least he's doing something.

I have to convince my kids to stop bothering my husband so he can clean the house for thanksgiving. and I really don't feel like chasing them around. I think its time to invest in some sort of cage.

Compromising. Not really the kind of sports I excel in.

I mean, nothing against a good, healthy compromise if the circumstances demand it... but not if I'm the one who has to take a step back. :o

The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

It's called "the outside".

I can't sleep. I can't work either. I'm just drifting with a ton of deadlines about to fall on my head. Agh...

And I still can't make heads or tails of the mafia games I'm supposed to play after this time crunch lets up....

The audacity! The post-exam binge is a sacred tradition. Time to invest in a guilt trip, Mappo!

I feel so drained after my Jap exam...and I'm not even halfway done in exams. Grrr.

They're 2. And its cold outside. And as much as I didnt want to chase them around inside, I really didnt want to have to find pants and go out the door.

Pants are overrated - just ask Rodeo.

I can't decide whether I want to buy an appartment or not or which bank I want to finance the project. :o

Well I had a crappy day. Working in a bookshop is great, but my manager is one of those really driven people who is forcefully enthusiastic about EVERYTHING! Great for the customers, but a bloody nightmare for staff.

You're fun. I like you. Not in a "creepy guy on the internet" kind of way, but in a "hey, it's a new interesting person on the forums who says funny stuff" kind of way.

The possibility has occurred to me. Although, if you were a guy pretending to be a girl on the internet, I would be interested to know how you settled on the "married woman with children" persona. Who shoots things.

Perhaps it's some kind of newly discovered fetish. Regardless, this is the wisest fetishist I've yet to encounter on the interbutts.
