Oh shit Ando you got me thinking about the 2014 hog invasion of my neighborhood. That was a crazy few months seeing/hearing and smelling those fuckers within charging distance of you. I was terrified a few times rounding the side of my house at 3:30 AM. Man we ate good for few months afterwards.

That actually makes me a little envious. I'd be all like "Hello little piggy, guess where you'll be living from now on? That's right, in my freezer!"

Discovery Channel is creating WILD HOG WEEK as we speak.
Andy Casagrande is working overtime on a hog cage that can withstand repeated impacts but still allow him to run around attempting to have sex with video the hogs and retreat to safety.

We're supposed to get up to 8 inches of snow tonight, the first significant snow of the season. Normally I would put that in the 'What is making you happy' thread, but because it is the first snow and tomorrow falls during the work week, it's going to be idiot central on the roads, where dummies have to learn how to drive all over again on icy/snow packed roads. Getting to work should be just dandy.

Also, I still contend jism is the worst of the " 'isms". Boom, mic drop bitches. Posted Image

Cucumbers are decadent? Book sales not going too great, Maark?

My grandmother died this afternoon. Not sudden or unexpected but still. Saddening. I went last week to see her and I knew it was the last time I would do so. I'm very glad I went.

Condolences, Tiste :(

As for me, it's a wild ride, so strap in, folks...

My mother has suddenly decided to refurnish our bathroom. So far so good, except she for some reason neglected to measure it properly, and let me tell you, our bathroom is TINY. It suits us just fine and the remainder of the apartment makes up for it, but still, IT IS TINY. We, until this morning, had appropriately sized furnishings. They weren't pretty, but workable and looked perfectly fitted into the available space.

So my mom went out and bought normal bathroom sized stuff. Which then had to be sawed into shape to fit our irregular walls (we're on the upper floor of an old building) and trapezoid floor. You now can't shit in peace without having the corner of a cabinet pocking the side of your ass. The toilet lid doesn't open all the way anymore. My tidy little shelf where I keep my skincare has been relocated to right above the heating unit. Fuck that, she can keep her own stuff there and cook bacteria in there. The mirror cabinet is now TWICE the size of the old one. But since two thirds of the side shelves on it had to be sawn off to fit it in, it's the most useless thing ever. The door opens the wrong way. It's also twice as deep and now presides over the sink like it owns it and I have to bend over double to be able to wash my face or do anything. The light is shit, too, since it's now located on top of that mirror cabinet monstrosity which in turn blocks the light and there's no way to hang a bulb from the ceiling in this excuse of a bathroom.

The ONLY positive thing about the whole new setup is that my blind ass doesn't have to basically climb into the sink anymore to see anything clearly in the mirror. But, you know, the cabinet is now almost as deep as the sink and hangs pretty darn low, so can't say I'm rejoicing.

I have pettily taken up the premiere shelf space inside the cabinet, even though it's annoying as fuck to have to take everything out twice a day and put it back in the proper order. Madame can cook her perfume bottles over the heater for all I care.

That ass-pocking situation has to go, though. Even if I have to buy a new cabinet myself.

I swear, if I wasn't living in this apartment, I'd think someone was making this shit up. Also, the whole thing will look even worse than the old stuff in two months time since we both dye our hair and you can bet if it wasn't easy to keep dye spatters off the old, cheap but small cabinets, the stuff is going to end up on everything.

The upside I am too lazy to post in the other thread is that I finally got the new shelves I bought three freaking months ago installed in my wardrobe so I can turn it into an art supplies and office cabinet, and mom had to pay for it because SHE ordered the guys who installed the whole shabang to begin with.

I also managed to burn my finger today and it HURT. Though I guess that's a good thing in a way.

Cucumbers are just vile. The pandas are right. Sweet, communist pandas.

Also sorry what is a 'book sale'?

It's never easy, but you made the visit and that's obviously a good thing. Sorry for your loss mate.
