I bought pretty new star wars bed sheets, but I still can't use my left hand, my elbow bleeds a little when I move it wrong and my legs are all bruise (as previously mentioned was slightly hit by a car lat week) - so I can't change my sheet at the moment

That Elephant is looking rather frayed at the edges

To be honest, I would just report this with the University. Plagiarism is not just bad practice, it is a crime as far as I am aware. And if you are found to knowingly corroborate with it by letting the proofread slide through or willfully ignoring it, it might come back to bite you too. His degree should be stripped or he should at least do a rewrite. It is an unforgivable misstep.

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Thanks, everyone, I'm okay now
Was just surprised because I hadn't had anything like that since I went to therapy and I thought I'd gotten over it, but eh, shit happens, I guess.
I am also glad to inform everyone that our D&D group does, indeed, include a kobold. Though he thinks he a dragon in training. And likes to touch everything, so we're frequently having to evacuate asap or be blown to smithereen.
Fortunately, that wasn't my regular group. Despite the drama, my regular group is awesome and I love it and I'm weaving a plot to scare the hell out of them... A couple people asked me if I want to help test out a new system and I agreed, but I can't get my hands on the rulebook (because the people who made the Burning Wheel system are shoddy at having the core book in stock) and the day before yesterday I found out that the setting was going to be not what was originally planned, and one I don't particularly like, because I hate playing court intrigue. Additionally, I don't consider the GM to be worth my time (as compared to our D&D GM, who is glorious) but would've played anyway if everything else would've been fine. But all those things making me uncomfortable at once was just too much. I need to know what I'm doing. I know that's a silly reason for an aniety attack and not everyone is goign to understand, but eh, I've been worse.

The ongoing success of any DnD group is diametrically opposed to it's collective depth of Monty Python knowledge.

The messed up lines on my phone screen are multiplying.
I'm probably gonna have to replace the phone by the end of the year at this rate.

Yesterday was a perfect storm.
Being sick? Check.
Going to work anyway? Check.
Lots of extra stuff at work? Check.
Lots of family work after and before work? Check
Super shitty weather? Check.
No internet? Check.
Wake up today to learn nice weekend plans cancelled? Check.
Pouring rain so hard I can't see across the street? Check.
I want to go to bed.

On holiday in Devon. It's not going great.
The weather has been shit. Quelle surprise.
I managed to quite badly scald my thigh on steam from a travel iron on our first day. I can't get it wet which means I'm banned from the sea AND the hot tub at our cabin. Most pathetic holiday injury ever. Why did I even want to iron????
Mr PigDog has a shoulder injury that means he can't lift Baby PigDog which means no real break from child care for me.
Mr PigDog got some form of puking bug yesterday so I've been hauling Baby PigDog around the beach in the rain on my own today.
In the grand scheme of things life ain't that bad for us but I'm feeling like I can't catch a break right now.
They're both in bed. I have opened a bottle of wine. Listening to the couple in the neighbouring cabin having a blazing row. Raise a glass to family holidays.

Wasted half my day at work trying to assist the phone guy to switch my phone line from the old office to the new one.
End result: my new office has a working phone line. Too bad I won't be in there pretty much at all for over a week, because the IT sub-contractor won't be able to come in to reroute the network cable until "late next week". Which translates into me being stuck in the suffocating hot (south-facing wall windows) for another week or so.
Sigh.

More importantly why are you travelling around with a fucking clothes iron? And what even is a travel iron? Does it collapse and fold together so that it can fit into a match box or something? For the life of me I cannot imagine hauling an iron around in a suitcase or something like that.

Give me a small amount of credit. The iron belongs to the cabin we have rented. It's just a miniature iron.

Which part of Devon are you in? Definitely have a walk around Dartmoor if you can later on.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Near Westward Ho! The only place in the British Isles with an exclamation mark in the name which is why we booked it.
I've done Dartmoor before ta. Hoping to go to Tintagel Castle tomorrow which is our last day but Mr PigDog will need to be fit enough to help me carry the sprog around the cliffs. I have never been to Cornwall before.

We used one of those backpacks you can post a smaller sprog into to do Tintagel and St Michael's Mount. Lots of steep steps at the former though, often with added ocean spray to make it a bit more exciting. Merlins Cave below on the beach is worth checking out while you're there, take care though!
Edit.. hang on, you were ironing while on holiday?!

A misdirected desire to look like I'd made a little bit of an effort on holidays. A hair dryer and make up are out of reach nowadays. A slightly unruffled top is not too much to ask surely!
