Damn, that's really sad news. The track record for the top grunge acts of the 90s is depressing. Nirvana, Alice in Chains and now Soundgarden. The one silver lining is that Eddie Vedder seems to be over all well adjusted and has far passed the grunge pigeon hole the others suffered.

It makes a big difference to the people that knew him. Dead is dead doesn't take any of the fallout suicide creates into account.

Carrie Brownstein brings it home: "Those of us who grew up in&around Seattle are acutely aware that we've lost nearly an entire generation of local music heroes". It's brutal news.

I live across the street from his ex wife and daughter, he used to live there before they got divorced, before I lived here. His daughter is a teenager now. Shits terrible.

Was enjoying a nest with baby birds outside my window, but now the nest has been abandoned by the mama and I no longer see little heads popping up. It must have been that freakish late season winter weather that set in two nights ago. Poor little birdies (and mama), that sucks.

Do they drug test you? If not, then it's worth a shot for emergency palliative reasons. If they do, then go to Legal Aid and see if you can get a lawyer to listen to your calm explanation and write a letter to your doc.

Here is free legal aid for North Louisiana : http://www.lsnl.org

I think you actually have a real chance of doing this in a way that's not going to piss the doctor off or get you in trouble. But it's going to take a very well written request and considered approach. You are also way more organized than most legal aid clients.

Would also skip the vodka bc you don't drink.

Wow, it's getting even sadder now, because the mother will come back to the nest and stand on the rim and look down for a few moments and then fly off. So sad. Posted Image

Oh hell NO! Just when all the Beauty and the Bestiality furore was starting to go away ...

Surely this comes under "cruel and unusual"?

:D

That's all the info there is right now. Explosion, some fatalities, some chaos. It'll be a while before anything else is known for sure, so probably best to ignore the talking heads for now.

Yeah it's brutal. Channel your rage into helping someone, somewhere, somehow (I don't mean immediately).
