My cat has been vomiting a lot lately, like 5-6 times in the last two days. It's not hairballs or food, just...yellow liquidy vomit. And last night he puked on my bed. Ew. :

You should check that he's still eating and drinking Maia, and if the vomiting persists, I would take him to the vet. I hope he gets better soon!

Right this minute, my ears are still ringing from a gig i just went to, and because i'm still a bit hyped there's no way i'll be able to fall asleep for a few hours.

He was fine yesterday (still eating, drinking, purring, paw dancing, hehehehe) but I'm definitely going to keep an eye on him regardless. It's just doubly annoying because I took him to the vet about a month ago and he was fine then. Isn't that always the way it goes?
Thanks for the good wishes, I'm sure he'll be better soon!

Is he neutered? Males can develop urinary track infections when the urea crystals can't be passed due to shorten/narrowed urethra. Check the litter box for usage,(liquid waste). The yellow liquid vomit could be a sign of the bodies posions not being exceted. Vomiting on your bed is his way of letting you know he is sick. Watch for him trying relieve himself in inappropriate places and if he becomes listless. If this happens get him to the vet ASAP. Not to be an alarmist but this can be fatal. Keep an eye on him and maybe call the vet and talk to some-one about this problem. If this is the problem sometimes the blockage will pass thru the system and things will return to normal, but repeat infections are likely. Hopefully he just ate a bad bug or chewed on a plant that disagreed with him. Good Luck.

It may be worms. I had a cat who started vomitting a lot, but it was first when it got really bad that worms started coming out of it. That was not a fun time.
Also, it's been vacinated for "Cat disease", right? I don't now what you call it in English. But it's a kind of common sickness cats will get if they aren't vacinated and it will kill it if it doesn't get treatment.

Last day today... the downside of my new job is that rather than sitting at a desk perusing the forum throughout the day, I will actually be working!
Damn.
I will be doing the same hours over a 4 day week though, so I do get an extra day off, but I'm going to have far less time here during the rest of the week.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Actually, he already had that disease (I think it used to be called distemper) when he was a kitten, it nearly killed him. I had gotten him from the SPCA and he was already 6 months old but hadn't been vaccinated until he came to the SPCA so he got really sick. Anyway, loooong story short he survived (duh) and he's now 9 years young.
On a more related note he seems to be doing better...no vomiting last night and he was eating and drinking and doing his um...business...normally so I think it may have passed. He's still a little more clingy than he normally is but fingers crossed the worst is over!

Tri-partite rant: A friend who turned into a hook-up and then turned back into a friend just de-friended me on Fbook overnight. We just had a fine conversation a few hours before, which in no way veered into the inappropriate.
I'm not bringing this up to her, even though I wonder why it happened.
My neck has hurt for the last couple days because we've been drilling guillotine/headlock escapes for a few sessions now. I keep ending up with less experienced people who tend to do the actual locks too tight or too loose, which leads to all kinds of contortions on my part. Gaah.
Oh, and I'm edging closer and closer to being broke.
Good thing I sunk all my equity into booze. 1.75 liters of vodka and a good bit of gin? Yeth, pleathe.
