Tri-partite rant: A friend who turned into a hook-up and then turned back into a friend just de-friended me on Fbook overnight. We just had a fine conversation a few hours before, which in no way veered into the inappropriate.

I'm not bringing this up to her, even though I wonder why it happened.

Turns out a crazy woman I very briefly got involved with after her decided to spread a whole truckload of rumors that were targeted at me, my friends, at her mentioned above and at anyone who could possibly hang around with me in the future.

This is the first time I've encountered something like this. I wasn't worried about my own reputation or anything like that, but damaging my relationships with friends - especially after I've worked hard to maintain them - is something beyond evil to me. A colossal and heartfelt WTF goes winging it's way through the night tonight.

Thing is... the her mentioned above is in a social circle that includes the source of the rumors, so she's not prepared to jettison the source or the circle or give me the benefit of the doubt. And there's absolutely nothing I can do about that. Fucking wonderful.

I have awesome friends by the way. Truly rock solid people who not only called the shit out, but calmed me down and let me have a great time despite feeling terrible all day.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Viking games? Haha that's awesome.

I'm running low on dosh, unfortunately, so I'm spending this Saturday night indoors. Balls.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Me and Cougar went out on the gin last night and now I have a hangover + hideous stomach illness and only have half a roll of toilet paper left!!!! Malazan drinking really never works out well for me. On the plus side, we had a cracking night out and intervened in an altercation between Mr Abdul and some angry gay men in a kebab shop.

Now I have to do some work and ration my bog roll. It isn't exactly a rocking Saturday.

Ha that's from some danish site. Why haven't I heard of this?

I would have thought you americans called it "lumberjack". It's one of those extreme sports they show sometimes on Eurosport 2.

This looks fun. Though I'm confused as to the purpose of the third activity (with the small blocks).

Messing with my groove: apartment is 90 degrees. It's not even noon yet, it's august, and the heater is stuck on.

Finally FINALLY got an opportunity to go to the book shop to buy Dust of Dreams and it was sold the fuck out!!!! There go my plans of an evening reading in bed at the end of a long weekend of stomach illness and work (and Cougar). Why must fate thwart me so?

My mouse is broken. I have to use tab to go to everything. As an experiment to see if you can tolerate the amount of PHYSICAL FUCKING PAIN I am currently suffering, try clicking the View New Posts button and then using the keyboard only.

Bad, isn't it? If I wasn't drunk, I'd have bitten through my lip. As it was, I've been thrown out of the pub I was in for biting through someone else's lip. Don't worry, it was only a bouncer who was getting fresh.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Son of a bitch. Also holding down shift and pressing right on the arrows keys to select quotes is hell. HELL.

Meh, at least I'll be quieter.

B) I sympathise, I can think of very little that's more annoying. Of course, I have 3 spare mouses (mice?) lying around here somewhere...I would offer you one except that they're probably older than you are!

On a side note, my groove is currently being messed with by the fact that there are workers fixing my deck outside and they've laid down some tar so now my bedroom smells like a tar pit and I have a headache. Sleeping tonight is gonna be fun, I wonder what kind of crazy-ass dreams I'm gonna have...?

I may be weird, but I quite like the smell of freshly laid tar.

I personally go for the freshly-laundered clothes smell....

Groove is messed because I have to compile a huge list of Japanese grammar-which will take ages.
