I ordered a Dresden Files book, and DOD at the same time online, and thus far only the Dresden Files book has made it here.

WHY NO DUST OF DREAMS??????

Having a good book to read in the meantime helps a bit, but I want DoD now!!!

I got a zero on the final project for this computer science class I was taking over the summer. Because "sections of your code appear copied from the solutions, with minor changes." Which is bullshit because
1) The solutions aren't available online, trust me, my google-fu is not that terrible.
2) The best (and sometimes only) way to do anything in computer science will look identical to the best/only way that someone else coded it.
3) I didn't hand in the project, my partner did. As such, I relinquish all final review responsibility. My partner probably did it, but they notified me by school email (which, lets face it, I don't get anything but spam on) to find out who did which half, and expected a same-day response. Four days ago. Unable to determine whodunit, they failed both of us on the project.

I still got a B in the class though. Should have had an A.

"Computer science class" I've always loved name. It sounds so... important. And dorky.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Hate to have to break this to you Mezzles, but you're getting to an age now where that kind of hangover is the best you can hope for...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Seriously pondering the possibility of quitting drinking forever right now. I'm dissolving from the inside. I wasn't the drunkest person at the party though! That was Mr PigDog and I have damning photographic evidence to prove it.

OMG! Don't do that! Think of the damage you'll do to the British alcoholic beverages industry... Just you saying that online has probably brought depression and worries about their job security to the employees of several breweries. They'll be throwing themselves into their vats...

Stayed up to 4am to watch Oshkosh Air Show on T.V.; however it had too much talk and pyrotechnics and not enough airplanes, especialy larger aircraft. Then they showed a pilot crashing and dying. Now I can't get to sleep.
