That's precisely why I advise all my patients to go ahead and take their prescription all at once, right away. Nobody can steal them that way.

Her excuse was she was severely soar cause she's been doing some hardcore Core workout class. I've been taking less the past few months having leftovers for the days when pain is ramped up but she has shredded that overstock. There will be hell to pay if I'm stuck in bed almost in tears for any length not having them.
Yeah, this is probably one of those things that point to why the ex thing is a thing.
That excuse sounds pretty terrible, tbh. I am decently acquainted with pain and meds due to the collapsed lung a while ago, but what you go through now is several levels above what I did. Your pain scale 10 is beyond my 10. For a normal/nice person, workout pain doesn't = stealing pain meds from someone like you.
I'm here for a way lesser thing:
My relatives came up from the Big City to hang out for a day. The dad is a big, boisterous guy who will not shut up about me getting married soon. I don't mind people asking about it, but this is every single time I see him and he compounds the dynamic by making it sound like me not having kids is a crime and by his prospects that he or my cousin have sent my way being... very lackluster in every way.
I do my best to stay cheerful and extricate myself politely, but dang...
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

No one seems capable of texting back. Offer pizza to friends, nothing. Wife and kids come home late. Nothing. Gods people, I'm glad the smart phones are smart. Can the rest of you figure out how they fucking work?

I just finished writing a term Essay with the highest concentration of Bullshit I have ever seen. I'm so fucked.
Why the fuck is the 1800 words in Times New Roman 2 pages shorter than 1800 words in Palatino?
I hate my life, procrastination sucks.
Have a good day folks.

What are you studying that your page count is the indicator of paper length. Highschool?
At university level you typically count 2400 characters for the average page length. If you're counting words only you go by 375 words for average length.
I'm currently doing a university course on users information behavior and our teacher is incredibly anal about paper lengths. He deducted a point from a paper I submitted based on me writing 300 characters more than the page limit.

I spent the last month of my thesis triming the word count down to 17999 Words (18 000 being the limit). Thankfully footnotes and the appendix did not count towards the total.
Universities are pretty much universally strict when it comes to paper lenght, and for good reason I think.

Say wut?
In Uni, and in law school, we were usually given the ballpark of 2.5-3k words double-spaced. If you got wordy, I've never seen marks deducted.
For formatting crap, like APA reports, yeah (esp with abstracts), but for the meat of the paper- never been an issue.
Mind, I didn't progress in academia beyond bachelor for a reason...

It's a literature course. The instructor didn't even specify a certain method of citation. That is why I'm going mad.

We had a standard 2500-3500 word limit for papers, 5000-6000 for bigger stuff.
If no citation style is specified, go with a standard format. I use Chicago. Does your institution have a preference?

Yeah I'm already using Chicago, which allows the use of Either Palatino Linotype (which is prettier and I prefer it) or Time New Roman (which is like half the size of Palatino at 12 point). She was very specific about the number of pages in her assignment instructions ...

Just trying to tidy up my itunes library a bit, as my podcast library is a bit unwieldy. But fuckit does itunes wreck my head. What used to be a reasonably simple piece of software (not great but not terrible) is now an aggravating piece of crap. Itunes hangs for a few seconds every time i even open the podcast section, it has managed to lose podcasts i know i had saved through it's stupid system of feed/saved/unplayed/whateverthefucktheycouldthinkof. It doesn't talk properly to my phone anymore, so if i download something on the phone, it doesn't bring some of the metadata with it (even though the interconnectivity is what is making it all so clunky these days as it constantly wants to check the cloud all the time, even if that is switched off). And now it takes ages to delete a podcast off my system even after clicking through several warnings. Yeah thanks apple, you can manage to disappear things off my library without me even noticing at the time, but you won't let me delete something without dragging folders to the bin several times and freezing the software.
The beauty of apple used to be that everything was so standalone that if you had a problem it didn't affect anything else. Unlike windows which wanted to have so much interconnectivity that if one program crapped out, the whole system froze. Now it's gone full circle with apple wanted everything on the cloud, and it drives me nuts.
