I had break whole week and Im pretty sure it should be thursday today.

I know there was some shenanigans with time this weekend here, but that by far does not explain where did that one day go.

My hard statistics show that I out preform literally 96% of my peers. On "sales" I'm like top 10 of 794 people((9)). I did the math since that is public knowledge and well fing boredom. or Ego?

Disappointed to see that ESPN/DISNEY has basically cancelled the Grantland website effective immediately, which means one of my most regular sources of decent podcasts is gone. I'm sure some of the better contributors will end up elsewhere and might get back into doing podcasts but who knows how long that will take (I'm sure the Game of Thrones podcast they had will show up elsewhere). I know the site got most of its credit for having good writers, but frankly it's the podcasts which I'm gonna miss.

Ahhhh. Shit.

I loved reading the stuff on Grantland.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Aren't they joining Bill Simmon's new site or whatever?

Frankly, I can't stand Simmons (he's a Boston homer), but evidently others like the writers there as well. Saw it on Reddit.

That's easy. Just burn a witch or two and heaven will placated.

Have 'em dress up tomorrow and do a "Halloween hunt" around the house like Easter.

Still candy, still fun.

My boy's third birthday today, and I won't be home until Thursday.

Went into the Mall the other day having a wander, but anything I liked the look of as presents (something nice with an Arab flavour) for the family was waaaaaaaay too expensive, or it was just stuff I could pick up at home. Anything else I could afford was not to my liking.

This place is not cheap. Don't come here looking for bargains, unless you want to pay thousands to save hundreds on stuff like jewellery, gems etc. Even then, I suggest you have someone who knows their stuff with you as many get home to find their bargains were actually a ripoff.

I don't haggle, that whole process doesn't interest me. I look at the price and if it is agreeable, I pay it. If not, I look elsewhere or drop the idea.

Wait, what?
The whole point of the markets is to haggle, they tell you lies about how many kids they have to feed and how you're going to bankrupt them. You act outraged and offer an even lower price. Good times

Recently a local newspaper published an article that the best way for women to avoid breast cancer is to marry between 23-27, have 2 kids by 30 and breastfeed each for 6 months.

My GF is extremely upset and angry and has told me she has no intention of having any kids before 30. Not really a problem for me, it was never part of my plans but this article doesn't read right at all. Is this some new research?
