Gonna rant a bit about some health issues. It has to go somewhere, so move along, nothing to see here..

The fact that I've seriously gained weight since starting new meds. Graaaah! It's really starting to grate on me, especially since I lost so much before that, but now it's worse than before, and I've zero time for gym or anything atm. And I've been waiting for three months for an appointment to maybe get checked by another doc and there're still another three months to wait. Yay for health insurance. I just want to scream and punch something. Badly. It's not even about looks, I just hate feeling powerless and uncomfortable in my own skin and also shopping, so I refuse to invest any money in new clothes. It's bad enough without these issues, but no.. It hurts. It's not unbearable, but definitely uncomfortable. Aaaall freaking day. So I find myself avoiding meeting people because I feel so uncomfortable and don't want anyone to notice. I'd rather just rip my reproductive organs out and be done with it, I'm taking hormone supplements anyway, whether they're there or not, so meh, so useless.. :D /rant

Sucky internet in an area full of posh, overpriced food. And can bring dinner but not cider into bar for trivia night (all they serve is beer... too bad I don't like beer :-/ ).

How bad is it if you feel just as tired and beaten up in the morning after you wake up as you do in the night after you come back from work?

I'm trying to change the windows of a computer that doesn't have a CD-ROM. It just isn't working. I'm seriously contemplating just throwing the damn thing out of the window.

Everytime I buy a hoodie from the Bioware Store the very next day they have a sale on hoodies. It's happened three times this year. It's a bloody conspiracy, I tell you! :D

We're taking Ripley to get an optional vaccination today. <----- This isn't the bad thing,

I'm not looking forward to the inevitable look of betrayal and hurt he is going to give us after being jabbed painfully by some stranger. <------ This is the bad thing.

Or the equally inevitable expense of buying him a 'Please don't hate us, we just don't want you to die from a preventable disease' present we always seem to get him. <----- This too.

When we took my little brother for a vaccine,(he was around 5) we explained to him why it needed to be done. He listened, nodded and with a very serius face insisted that if was going to get jabbed with a needle for his own good, we should all be jabbed with one as well.

My son is only one - but I'm pretty sure by now he is playing us just so he can get a treat. Last time he forgot to cry until the doctor handed him to my husband then he did a dramatic performance worthy of a Spanish soap opera.

My brother also didn't really cry a lot. He took the injection, then looked at the doctor and pointed to us and said "Its their turn now"

Yeah, I make Matt hold him during the injection then I swoop in all 'there, there' with hugs. :p

It's really weird though, Ripley loves his doctor. The moment we get into the practise he runs for her office door and you have to be quick to stop him from barging in on some poor unsuspecting patient. He knows that she has dinosaur toys so he stands outside the door roaring and growling until it's his turn to go in. And he always gets a balloon and is allowed to play with stamps.
Today, he didn't even cry with the needle but when we told him to say 'bye' he jumped on her lap and koala hugged her and refused to leave. He threw a full on tantrum when we left.
I didn't think kids liked going to the doctors? :/

Studylink is completely shit. My flatmate is only getting 60 dollars a week for student allowance. (im getting more, but i have to pay it back) which is making it rather difficult to make ends meet. There is only so much time for work when you are a full time student. Freakin sucks.

Customer contacts who expect me to do THEIR jobs for them...and don't even realize when I drop subtle hints that "Hey, it's not my job to contact YOUR supplier and find out why they didn't follow YOUR instructions". I kid you not I've had an email chain going with a person who should be looking into all this with THEIR supplier and keeps sending me hanging emails going "I don't know why they aren't sending you such and such" and just leaving it at that as if I'm going to be emailing this supplier to find out. It's things like this that grind my gears.
