What's messing with your groove?

Eh what? What are they charged 25 $ for, to check the weight of the luggage?

I think we could call it a draw if Rob Ford was going to be re-elected. Ford versus Fox, not sure which I would rather have in Canada less.
On the messing with my groove note is the fact both Westjet and Air Canada are going to the US airline model, where you are charged $25 for the first checked bag. I hate flying on US airlines because of that rule. The majority of passengers try to carry on all their luggage and boarding/disembarking takes way way longer than on other airlines. I fly a fair bit for work and foresee a whole lot of time spent sitting in a landed plane thinking to myself "hurry the F up you asshats."
Shouldn't that result in a $25 cheaper average fare if you fly without checked luggage? And shouldn't there be a weight/size restriction on carry-on to prevent people trying to force all their luggage into the cabin?
...that's how it works in the rest of the world, for international flights, at least. >.>

There are no plans to reduce fares for those who do not check bags. There are rules about the size of carry on bags, but they are not enforced.

Running. How do people do it? I bought a nice pair of running shoes to make myself start running and it lasted about 3 weeks. After about 1.5 weeks of not running decided to try again today. God I am out of shape.
No Touchy.

I am reluctant to start new threads as a result. Who decides what stays and what goes? What criteria is used? I am sad. They were some interesting and funny threads.
I am the decider. I am completely responsible for deleting every post that gets deleted off these forums.
Well that explains some things.
It should. It certainly should...
Indeed. Most things are Obdigore's fault.

Consider taking a course.
It makes a huge difference in how you approach it starting out.

Yes fight, and here is my weapon of choice
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Taking a course seems extreme... and a lot of work.
I'm fighting for breath, does that count? I push an occasional elderly out of my way as well.
Run in the woods, not in the streets.
Would be nice. There is a trail not too far but I would have to drive there and then run and drive back. I can barely motivate myself without that to get in the way.
On the plus side at least I'm not getting agonizing shin splints anymore.

Thankfully my work makes this sort of thing compulsory, because I am a terribad self-motivator. Also, taking out the first hour-and-a-half of your day with the session and ablutions afterwards etc makes the day go much faster.
Good luck. If you really hate impact stuff though, try one of those cross-country skiing cross trainer thingies. They really smash the daylights out of you.

Sunday night/Monday morning at 3AM, I had a full blonw panic attack and my wife nearly drove me to the hospital. It was not pleasant, and the tightness in my chest continued for a full day after. Went to the Doctor who established it wasn't anything to do with my heart, and very likely was anxiety.
That was NOT fun.

I'm glad you're OK but I couldn't help but giggle when I saw that it was you and that you put a capital D on the Doctor. I had an image of you going up to Peter Capaldi going "Dude my chest is killing me!!"

Work faux pas.
Have you ever got two cities mixed up in your head, so that when someone you are working with says that they are from one of them, you immediately start talking about the wrong one? That just happens to be in a totally different, albeit neighbouring country?
God I was just digging a great big hole; I'm generally pretty sound on geography but now I look like a colossal ignoramus.
I'm not sure if any offence was caused, but usually anyone from countries that are all on the same continent get offended if they get mistaken for the neighbours.

Work. As much it feels great to be wanted/needed/relied upon, it's getting a bit taxing to be the "go-to" guy for EVERYTHING. *sigh*

Can't say I have ever done that. My biggest work faux pas is either calling a client by the wrong name for an extended period after we were introduced over speaker phone (I hate being put on speaker phone with a passion, likewise dealing with bad cellphone/sattelite phone connections), or the couple of times I signed an email off with retards, instead of regards, prior to work having a server and functional system where we can add standard email signatures. Luckily the latter were emails to people I deal with a lot, and not at the end of angry rants.
