I'm a bit more down than I should be at the thought of moving house in two weeks.

While the new place is so much bigger and better located for us and the kids... I'm going to miss this place. I like the village, the surroundings, the neighbours, and the peace and quiet. It's not like we're moving into a city or anything, just a village on the edge of town with better access to schools, closer to work and all that sensible stuff, but it's still going to be a busier area than we're in now.

I guess I should be looking at all the great new stuff we'll have, but right now I can't quite believe that the house we've spent so long making perfect for us, and had two children in, will belong to someone else in 12 days. And my pond, dammit.
