I hate where I'm living currently and can't wait to move (hopefully in 4 months), I had 3 panic attacks this morning within the span of an hour, and it's rainy/cloudy today.

I would, but it's only at the hotel we're staying at,so punching bags are probably not in my foreseeable future :D

Groove is messed because we were planning to go to Byron Bay but the weather killed off that plan-though I did get to see Django Unchained! :)

I have a friend. He's an emotional person, the man. I'm okay with emotions. As long as people don't try to talk to me about their emotions, I am perfectly fine with them. My friend tries to talk to me about his emotions. He thinks I hurt his feelings and instead of just ignoring it/me until we both forget it happened, he wants to talk about it. To clear the air.

Sooo I was fooling around with my first 10/10 for the last two months now.

Such amazing experience..she was clear she didn't wants feelings...I developed them..She told me everything about her, we have amazing chemistry...maybe just lust. but so much fun. Master's degree really smart can hold a fun convo with me and stuff. Sooo much fun. Crazy Hot.

So yeah..she confessed she wanted to fool around before going into a really rough time...

She has Ovarian Cancer. bad. Wow. She wanted to create some good memories before going into this.

Just venting I guess...I told her i would be there if she need anything, she states that's not fair to me as a person.

that is like lifetime movie stuff. As a religious person trying to determine why god sent her out on my path. Cant decide. time to get my stuff together maybe..

I guess time to move forward? It was just a couple of months...i feel bad. This really amazing person had to make these decisions to suffer..alone. fuck.

Yesterday I discovered I have no idea where my LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth game is. Now I discover that Rome: Total War has also gone walkabout. Not the box, you understand, just the disc! So I think to myself "it's OK, I have Shogun Total War 2 I haven't installed it!" So I install it then click to play it. Then Steam pops up and tells me it isn't going to be ready for 5 hours and counting! What? I just installed the thing why do I have to download it as well?

No PC gaming for poor old Simeon... :D

Queensland is flooding again. Ipswich (where we have some Malazites) is getting hit today, Brisbane tomorrow. My street and carpark have flooded, and a few of us are going to be cut off for a couple of days most likely, but hopefully not flooded properly. We have had 100k/h+ winds and mini tornados (very very unusual here). Has been a crazy few days.

On a funnier note, my housemate's fling has his work ute flooded on our street as he didn't move it on time. He was a bit of a dick so I just think it is funny :D

When you talk to her, sit besides her. Don't be across from her staring at her.

Open up with "Can we talk about [time I scared you]? I felt enormously bad for that and really want to make sure this doesn't happen again."

Really, really resist the reflex to say "No, I didn't do that." or things along those lines. What she'll hopefully be doing is telling you how she felt - not necessarily what's true (we all do this to each other) - and dealing with that feeling is sometimes more important than dealing with the truth.

Also, Nicodimas, maybe you do want to try and be a companion to the ovarian cancer sweetheart. It's possible to be a friend/fuck buddy without getting super-deep or making it needlessly stressful and complicated. Bring flowers of friendship to her chemo appointment and so on.

It's alright now, crisis averted. Met him at the pub the yesterday to see the match (which is now messing with me groove something fierce) and all we talked about was football. All is well (apart from Liverpool) and hormone balanced in the world once again.

That's a tough one.

I'd say that you actually lay that out for her as you have here. Honesty. Tell her you are into her, but right now you need her to be your friend, as your marriage was messed up and you are still in recovery mode. That you need to get yourself sorted and into a good position again before you can offer much more than what you both have been having (not sure the extent beyond talking). You should convey that a relationship is not off the table at all, but that for the time being what you have to offer isn't a relationship on that level. But make sure to point out that a friendship is actually a REALLY good idea anyways, as you can get to know each other better without the "dating games" and assorted stuff like that hanging over your head. It's possible to keep her around and be friends...but you may need to get used to the idea that she may need to look elsewhere for a relationship if she's in a hurry to get into one and if you can't offer it. Which sucks if you dig her...but it's fair to her.

I'd say it's defo possible to maintain a friendship with her with an eye towards something more serious in the future if that comes to pass once you are settled...but the best road to that is going to be total honesty about your own situation...which probably won't be easy...but cathartic at any rate.

Just my two cents BK. You deserve happiness, but no need to rush it till you're ready. :D
