I really want the Thor Whisky as a talking piece, but the price is too high to not drink it.

And empty bottle? Pointless!

I imagine it would be semi difficult to get my hands on one now, anyway.

Buy it. Drink it. Then fill the bottle back up with cheaper stuff.

I thought of that but it seems just... wrong, somehow.

Thats it. Drink a bottle of Thor while watching Thor. Oh man.

Fixed to reflect reality.

Can you fix reality or only fix to reflect reality?
If you can fix reality, I'll send you a list of all things that are messing with my groove and need fixing right now. Thankyou, sir.
but are they worth preserving?

Yeah, my solution was to just stop being the one who put in all the effort. It's been years now, and I still don't think she's noticed ;)

Yep, that is the acid test. Agree.

NOOOOOOO!!!! The Olympic Torch Relay passed outside my workplace. We were allowed out to watch it. If I'd been one torch bearer further up the road, I would have seen Bruce Forsyth!!!!!! Instead I saw a chap from the Gay Football Supporters Network. Not quite Brucie ;)

Further to my last post I have been to the doctors twice re my ankle & my boss has told me to stay off work (obviously I am on my feet all the time with my job). So now my excellent sick record is screwed up & the only thing I know is that I have weak feet & this might be a recurring problem... *sigh*

At least the weather has been nice while I'm off!

Tiste Simeon, forumite. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world’s first bionic geek. Tiste Simeon will be that geek. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster, able to actually talk to women without stuttering or spilling his drink.

Had to jump start the car this morning. Forgot to turn the headlights off last night ;)
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Get a Segway.

Or more seriously, get to a true physiotherapist (one who is actually athletic, understands the nature of demanding sports/jobs) and work on your ankles/legs. There could be a muscular imbalance somewhere in your posterior chain that's manifesting itself in messed up legs/feet. I'm talking more than just rehab - this is "prehab", or work put in to make sure you don't have the problems you're having.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
