Why is it ALWAYS me who has to compromise and make the effort to understand women's feelings? I don't think I've ever once heard any popular call for women to make even a token effort to see things from the male side of things. You know - the LOGICAL side.

In my relationship, she's the logical one and I'm the emotional one. Just being honest here. It's way more fun to be the emotional one, I've gotta say. I don't know why anyone ever chooses to be the not crazy one in the relationship.
Laseen did nothing wrong.

Summer finally started two days ago and over a month late. I was looking forward to spending the weekend in the sun, but apperently it was not do be. I threw my back out and spent most of the weekend lying down and trying not to move very much instead. Still not sure if I'll be able to go to work in the morning.

Somehow I'm the bad guy because I don't feel my friend is a victim. The only thing he is a victim of is his own stupidity.

He was sleeping with a woman a few months ago who is in a longstanding relationship with a guy that my friend has drinks with on a regular base. Now she has found out she is pregnant and has told my friend he is the father. Somehow, because I wouldn't just agree that the affair was her fault and sit there referring to her as 'the bitch' & 'slag' and because I don't feel the need to tell my friend it isn't his fault or to feel overly sorry for him because a) he might have an unexpected baby on the way and 2) when/if her partner finds out he'll likely beat the shit out of my friend like he did the last guy (put him in ICU and was charged for it) his missus screwed around with. Well then maybe he shouldn't have been fucking another man's woman!!!

He knew what he was doing and he is just as equally responsible for the situation. I understand that it isn't going to be easy and he is going to have months ahead of him before he can know for sure if the kid is his etc but then maybe, just maybe, he shouldn't have said 'Fuck you!' to his morals and common decency in the first place.

I get it. He made a mistake. And as his friend I fully intend to help and support him in anyway but that does NOT mean I have to approve of what he did or overlook his role in it. The fact that people are defending his actions makes me question just what kind of people they are.

At least my friend is owning up to what he did and isn't making excuses for himself.

The funk of unemployment is setting in. I'll find something, but for now it feels bad. On a brighter note, our loan officer said that despite me losing my job, we are still approved for the same amount on a home loan, but that means that my salary compared to the wife's is literally irrelevant. Nice work, way to make something of myself.

Went out yesterday and they tried to steal my car.... were stopped by a car guard person. So all they really managed to do was break my car so now i have had to send it in to get fixed and it is going to cost me a butt load of money. :wallbash: Not to mention that the cop who drove by stopped only tell yell at us and threaten to arrest us for vandalism cause al the garages didnt have a tow rope so we were trying to use some tape from the side of the road.

Yes, women are all thoughtful, lucid, well-rounded individuals who never showcase any crazy, ill-judged, piss poor decisions.

You may as well say that HUMANS are crazy, since that statement is true.

Stating it's just males makes me wonder if you've met a broad selection of women on this planet.

I just posted and for a moment my post existed and then it disappeared......... :p

I was complaining about losing access to TQB's subforum and as such not being able to post in the ME Squee thread.

EDIT: Whilst I am denied access to my profile settings, chat and TQB subforum I seem to have gain some accessed to other hidden places. Just how many hidden subforums does this site have....? :wallbash:

Sure but we're both slightly less angry, less filthy yet more awesome versions of Sombra, right?

Cool down?

Wut?

I'm not "hot" in any way (other than the obvious).

Just joining in the convo.

Am I not allowed to contribute anything now without it being construed as freaking out?
