I still haven't seen the Avengers; my bro and I have set a date three separate times and three times he's cancelled on me. Of course, he's seen it now so yeah. Methinks I ought to just find a download and have done.

I am still not finished with this paper. It's the last one of my MA and should be fairly easy, but I can't think of what to write.
I also just mistyped 'fairly' as 'failry,' which seems fairly accurate.

My sister, being afflicted with adolescence, is currently suffering Bieber Fever. It's a sad, unfortunate condition where a person, usually of the female teenager variety, loses all sense of taste and develops a rabid addiction to a certain gender confusing 'singer'.
An unfortunate side-effect of my sister's particular strand of Bieber Fever is that she continues to try and infect me with her sickness through subversive means - playing Bieber's 'music' when I'm around, sending emails with links to Bieber 'songs' etc. She has yet to succeed due to my good taste and working hearing but she is determined and today she almost had me listening, unintentionally, to Bieber. It seems her next tactic is to hide copies of Bieber's cd in amongst my own cd's.
That is one deviously evil kid.
I'm so proud XD

Without Bieber, we may not have gotten to hear "Call Me Maybe" outside of Canada, so he can't be all bad.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Don't do it!
Partly because the only downloads you're likely to find are cam jobs, and those are terrible, they always make a movie less satisfying/awesome.
And unless you have a great big TV and a good soundsystem, it won't have the same impact. It is one of those movies worth seeing on the big screen, with the theatre's big speakers if you can.
Stab your brother and replace him with a more reliable one?
Or demand he take you to see it AND pay for you for bailing so often then seeing it without you.

Beautiful day. I have to work. "But Simeon!" I hear you type "doesn't your job involve you walking around outside?" This is true, but good days mean all the flaming idiots who seem to live on the patch I cover all come out and drink and fight and throw stuff at me... Just can't be bothered. I fancy going for a picnic in the park with my wife, not put on a stab vest and plod around some of the scummier parts of the city... *sigh*

I'm sorry, your avatar stops me from having any sympathy for you. Because, if it could, that's exactly the sort of look I imagine your cat would have as it watched you clean up it's shit

The new Sonata Arctica album. Stylistically it's all over the place and apart from maybe two songs they're all incredibly 'meh', and even those two are forgettable compared to their older stuff, like Don't Say a Word, Wolf and Raven or Shy.

I loathe the first day back at work after a long weekend.
Oh and I just finished up a flat out amazing book, which almost inevitably means I am in for the "post-awesome-book" slump...and I hate that.

Couldn't attend figure drawing today, because it was outside in the yard and the sun was shining full force (which equals full force headache for me) and pollen were everywhere and I'm not allowed to take meds against allergies this week..
That said, the various tourists who happen to cycle onto our campus area occasionally were probably rather happy seeing a pretty naked lady posing outside.. I'm surprised there were no accidents.

On a side note... I get so worried when I see you post in here because I'm afraid that something has come up that would prevent you from coming to NZ!!
