Different levels of friendship are possible.
Some are closer than family. Others are more distant and less willing to go to a certain extent to help.
But if zero ability to count on any level of support or help, then, yeah, not your friends.

True. Plus some friends are only willing to support you or come to your defence so long as it won't affect them or their other friendships in anyway. I've come to realise just in which ways I can count on each of my friends to be there for me and which ways I can't. Between them all I have most areas covered. It's not perfect or how it should be but it's that or have no friends because none of them meet my 'outdated and overblown notions of loyalty.' I figure we can't all have a Garrus in our life. The best some of us can hope for is to be someone else's Garrus.

I'm going away again for a couple of weeks. And it's pissing down rain where I'm going. Which will probably continue for the first week I'll be there.
I seriously loathe my job at the moment, which is why I'm putting in a trade transfer to another job within the same organisation. Hopefully this will lead to less stress.

Played Mass Effect 3 today, which was fun, but my God. The Thessia mission was heartbreaking. I am gonna tear Kai Leng a new asshole.
