I didn't know you lived in Australia, SylvanShade. Still, Shiara's right - no matter the size, better safe than sorry when it comes to snakes.

Australia may have some of the most poisonous snakes in the world but very few of them are aggressive. Stamp your feet hard enough and they'll avoid you and/or you can herd them out a door.

Still, don't try handling one unless you've had proper training and possess the correct equipment.

Or rather, no internet on my laptop.. It DOES work on the old pc, which is slow as hell and crashes all the time and the screen hurts my eyes and I need internet for my assinment. Also, since my scanner/printer is wireless and does NOT work with the old pc, I can't do much anyway :p *sigh* :p

Was at a pub last night with limited parking so, we parked next door with everyone else that goes to this place. Well the cops got called as well as the towing company. They towed a total of 10+ cars, mine included so there was an extra $100 bucks I wasn't planning on spending. The thing that really pisses me off is that not once did they ever come in and give anyone a chance to move their vehicle and save the hundred dollars.

I'm reliably told that if you jam your finger in the snake's anus it immobilizes and renders them harmless.

- Abyss, is also told that a similar technique works with Australia's venomous spiders, although you have to use your pinky finger.
