Whiskey.
When i'm pissed off i have to hang out with my wires friends doing some stupid thing or another. Whiskey makes it good...if not tolerable.

Just ordered "The Chronicles of the Black Company", according to a lot of people here a great series, so I'm looking forward to it.
Perhaps I'll read it before Game of Thrones which is already on the top of my to read pile for a couple of months waiting until I finish my Malazan re read.

I am of a mind to strongly encourage your inclination to read Black Company first. It is indeed very similar to Malazan as so many claim, but don't expect it to be on par with Erikson. Mind you, you shouldn't expect anything to be on par with Erikson...
If you are open to recommendations, I was also suggest you pick up The Darkness That Comes Before, of you haven't read it already. It is excellent. The same darkly poetic tone as Erikson.

Started last night by packing up all my books. They fit into 12 medium sized boxes. Then I packed up random odds and ends I was keeping into two more boxes.
But I was on a roll. So I dismantled my pseudo-closet I bought at IKEA years ago and put it in the junk pile. I am getting rid of the majority of my furniture (an old love seat, an old easy chair, some rickety wooden dining chairs, two wooden TV stands, 3 ikea shelving units, one ikea crappy desk, 5 old ikea lamps), 3 CRT TV's, an old VCR, and an OLD DVD player. So I took all of that stuff that is getting taken away and put it all into one corner of my apt (so when they come to take it away it's all in one place).
Then I organized the few things I am keeping furniture-wise into the old TV room (two tables, 4 newer dining chairs, a computer chair, a stand-up fan). All that is left in my bedroom now is my bed (coming with me), two empty bookshelves (both coming), and my desktop computer (which I am bequeathing to my gf replacing her antiquated Dell).
All that I have left to do is box the kitchen stuff up that I am keeping (and storing at the new place)...which I will do next week. Other than that I am fully ready for the move! I don't have to officially be out till April 1st, but we will be slowly moving stuff over in my gf's car during the first week of March.
This makes me feel really good, since I was dreading the fact that moving date was approaching and it didn't look like I was moving yet. Now my apartment looks as if I am moving this weekend.
I am teh happy.

I got on a ranked team in League of Legends, which is something I've been meaning to do. We've got our first scrimmage tomorrow.
It's not going to be a huge time commitment, since we have members across 3 timezones, we can pretty much only practice for a window in the afternoon (for me). But it's much better than the proto-team I was on before, with some of my friends from college. We have our own vent (voice chat) channel, and everyone's on pretty much every day or every other - so it's much more likely that we can get a 5 man team together (there are 7 of us total, 2 potential alternates)
I think the roughest part will be trying to solidify team positions, since currently we all just sort of do everything differently each game. I'm the junior member, too, so I don't get that much of a say.

I eventually replaced my PS3 and now own a copy of SKYRIM baby.
In other news, my 6 week old boy is absolutely gorgeous!
And while he may be a screamer and an insomniac to boot, he's MY little screaming insomniac!! Who's in serious danger of getting eaten if he's not careful (or screaming!)
