Had a fucking amazing night on Saturday-did some dancing, met some new people, stayed out until midnight, the works. :veryangry:

Now? Well, Halo Reach comes out in 8 days. Oh boy.

Yeah, my nights are generally a disappointment if they end at midnight...

Hahaha nah, it was terrific. But it was at a mate's house, and his parents wanted it over by 12, 12:30. Sucks but there you go.

A couple of girls running around in their undies certainly livened things up... :veryangry:

Maybe he hasn't hit that 'drunken teenage partying' phase yet. He had a good time though, so good on him.

EDIT - heh, certainly don't miss those kinds of house parties. Ones that have a curfew, I mean, not girls frolicking in their underwear. :veryangry:

Yes but for half the year in Norway you can't tell when 'midnight' actually IS!

Suuuuuuuuuure Mappo. Suuuuuuuuuure.

It might have been the drunken partying teenager thing, but alchohol was banned. I think its better that way, to be honest. I have friends who regularly get shitfaced every Saturday and they vomit, have terrible hangovers, start coughing up blood even. I don't see the appeal.

Coughing up blood? That's messed up. I generally find the hangover is definitely worth the night before though. And that's the trick. Get plastered, have a whale of a time and take the hangover as the price for a crapload of fun. But I barely get hangovers from beer anymore though, so I'm good. :veryangry:

It's just a phase people have to go through before they learn that everything is better in moderation.

Yeah, I hear tell of that. Almost like a badge of honour-one that withstands cold showers. :veryangry:

Just got back from the pub, after a long day at a marine science conference Some pretty interesting work going on, and some cool people, has made me more enthused about my own work as well.
