One of my roommates moved back to her parents' house for the summer yesterday. She left a note on the door to her room saying it was not to be used by anyone in the meantime. Her room is the master bedroom so I went "fuck that", moved all my stuff into my spacious new master bedroom and moved the note onto the door of my former room instead. This is my first post from the new room!

So, anyone moving the note from your door to theirs yet? Could be great fun when she comes back...

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

At least in my mind I did.

Spurs in the champion's league. This is gonna make me happy for a good many weeks, until I find out the draw for the qualifying round.

My boss gave me a huge, last-minute assignment as he walked out the door for a week-long vacation. But, rolling a 1 against my Awesomeness score, I finished it ahead of schedule!

:bs:
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Family vacation in Florida in 2 days. I get to see my parents and al the in-laws together. Only downside is I have to go to Florida to do it, but oh well. I'll survive somehow.

Thank you BBC iplayer.

I work remotely using a connection to my London office's network. This afternoon however (just as Cameron was giving his speech) I was abruptly cut off from my remote desktop session because so many people were watching iplayer at the same time, it broke the internet. They still haven't fixed it enough for me to connect so I got the remainder of the afternoon off. Well done my London colleagues! Keep up the good work!

The only downside to all of this is that my connection to the network is what fools the BBC and channel 4 websites into thinking I'm in the UK so now I can't watch them either :bs:

Cameron's speech...does that mean the Tories are in? *only knows about hung parliament*

No no, Brown made a speech and then there was some studio stuff and then Cameron made a speech. Think it was mostly sucking up to the LibDems but to be honest I got cut off quite early so I didn't hear most of it.
