Today, I'm feeling smug. So far this week I have applied for 2 decent jobs and submitted a paper for publication. I think I will enjoy it before I suffer rejection on all 3 counts in the coming weeks :nono:

I'm happy the version of the visual abortion in question that I found to show Brood (and had to watch thirty seconds of to make sure I had the right video, and then spend more time to find a more offensive version) was much, much lower quality than what DW found.

Today I remembered to bring my fingerless gloves to work so that I can keep my hands warm and still type. A colleague has been even smarter and brought her hot water bottle though. They still swear the heating is on.

Considering I've seen women swear the heating was off when it was 25C in the room I do believe that the heating may very well be on and you're just suffering from mass hysteria.

It is bloody cold though, which is why I'm extra glad I have on my long sleeved rugby winter base layer thingy on.

Further proof of the cold building. I just got back in from a fire evacuation due to steam from a previously frozen and no burst hot water pipe setting off the alarm!
