As of yesterday I have been a member of Malaz for 7 years!
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

Still don't know how we beat Pakistan (cricket), but I'll take it. Probably more because Pakistan lost than we won.
My unit only has minor water damage. The water went from the laundry to the bedroom next door and the small part of the hall in between. The carpet in the bedroom was gone and the floating timber floor removed by the time I got home, so that's OK. They're going to replace it next week I think.
Completely unrelated, but apparently my balcony door shattered some time while I was away as well, during the high winds most likely. No idea what object caused it though. But it was replaced by the time I got back yesterday.

I went shopping today after work (yay for post-Christmas sales!) and got lots of nice clothes. Then I came home to see that Amazon.ca had the Big Bang Theory season 2 at $33 instead of the $45 that it was in the stores so I bought that as well. Double yay!

Just spent € 200,- on drinks with my best mate, leaving the rather cute barlady astounded by our capacity for drink (and the ridiculous toasts we were proposing... I may ctually have asked her to marry me at some point). Neither of us have a lot to celebrate over 2009 or 2010, but damn, this was a great evening.

Didn't you say you were going to be alone? Is that what you kids are calling it these days? That's what she said.
Happy B-day!

No. Happy for you. Why would I be jealous?
