Awesome weekend! :) I got a borders voucher from one of the ladies at work to thank me for working with her, then went for a 60 minute massage (which was awesome but it felt like my back had been punched for the rest of the weekend), snoozed at home, went to a LAN, slept on a tiny couch that my head and back only just fitted on, went home next day, then went shopping and paid off my courset and got and awesome matching skirt, then cooked for 6 hours, fell asleep at 12:30 while the last of my stuff was simmering, woke up an hour later to find it nicely simmered then went to bed properly, finished off making my lasagne in the morning, went to play DnD for 8 hours, and everyone liked my lasagne. :p :)

So I am now lacking sleep and worn out but AWESOME weekend was had :p

Glad you had an awesome weekend Centz.

But could you clarify sometihng for me? When i read the following

Quote

snoozed at home, went to a LAN

My poor brain was thinking, "She went to a Local Area Network?????"

I'm confused (it happens easily).

Yeah LAN parties are cool...had one last week
I'm happy cause my father came back from Paris yesterday, which means I finally got my filthy claws on DOD...
oh and I also made a few good friends on my first week in Uni, which is so far proving to be an awesome experience Posted Image

I don't have to go to work today (happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow Canadians!) and I have a nice gift card to spend on books. It's shaping up to be a very good day. Posted Image

Got a personal email from Stephen R. Donaldson. I had written him a question on his website asking if he was aware that DoD was dedicated to him. He actually wrote me back to say that he wasn't, but now has a copy and has begun reading it, and was quite touched by the dedication..

Good to see you enjoying it Centz, and you even ordered dice, do you have a massive stack of books you use only during games or carry ten around in a massive bag that will destroy your bag.

A d6 block, what are you doing to require that many?

Thanks, when I move further out into the back country it became to much to drive the two and a half hours to play with the groups I used to game with. Most the people I used to game with have been published in ether modules, or some of the hand books. One of the groups I was in used to compete at Cons.(Death warmed over)
