It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

decided to play the peanut tables, up $20 so far, noit bad for being so damned hungover.
Some guy decided to start a running commentary on the game, giving us "pro tips". This irritates me to no end, becasue everything he was saying was idiotic and wrong. He thne called me an imbecile, just before I called him all in and took his measley $7.
I proceeded to be gentlemanly, and rub his face in it until he thank fully left, much to the joy of all the other players
this evening is looking up.
now get me a beer!

Plants Vs. Zombies has made my day....god this game is awesome!!
When a man lies he murders
Some part of the world
These are the pale deaths which
Men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear
To witness any longer
Cannot the kingdom of salvation
Take me home

The happy consciousness of a dusted, vacuumed, and mopped house, with clean sheets smelling faintly of lavender waiting for me to crawl into tonight.

Not so happy: the aching back that is an inevitable product of mopping an almost entirely tiled house.

Just discovered a very feel-good song. Makes me grin from ear to ear.

An amazing meal with Dr. Luxury Wife, the neighbor, and his girlfriend. We cooked all day, ate late, leftovers will last days.

Yes! I saw him a few years ago. He's pretty damn cool.

What kind of music did he play there? He plays country, but he's also in a punk band and plays some metal.

It's my last day at work today!

No more full time archaeology - back to the operating theatre after I've had a week off.
Better hours, better money, and no more driving 50 miles to work every day!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I just chased a cat away from the hedgehog it was bothering, right outside my house. You do NOT fuck with hedgehogs.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I'm home from work and it's a Friday afternoon therefore...it's the longest possible time before more work! (To paraphrase the Simpsons.) Happy is I. :)
