Yes I am! I have been for a long time, I thought everyone knew that by now. I'm sure I've mentioned it before. And yes I know you call it football!

AFL: The Bombers beat the number 1 team in the competition in the most shocking upset ever, breaking the Saints' unbeaten run and gaining a possible spot in the finals. This bodes well for my team, who are number 2.

I finished Dust of Dreams last night. Now I'm going to read it again!
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

The following conversation happened yesterday:

My Girlfriend: Hey can I borrow those fantasy books you are always on about?
Me: *faints with excitement*

So yeah, she now has my copy of GOTM.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Finished my annoyingly difficult PolSci assignment on global political economy. It is now 10 to 1. Now all that's left to do is hand it in tomorrow morning. Hopefully nothing annoying happens in the meantime. *fingers crossed*

Now I'm off to bed, for some much-needed sleep. This makes me happy too.

After about 5 attempts I finally got all the different errors on my computer to stay away for long enough to be able to watch another episode of BSG. Yay!

I have been bummed about not being able to afford to order DoD right now. Then something wonderful happened. My dad borrowed a Glenn Cook book from me, and accidentally god it water damaged. (It's still readable, just a little warped, not even a hardcover.) He knows how I am with books, and is the same way, so feels horrible and insists on buying me a new book to make up for it. Helllllooooooo, amazon.uk! So, 6-10 days until it is mine, all mine. Sweet.

You lucky dog, you.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

I've never been so happy to get a booked messed up. The Glenn Cook book isn't even ruined, just slightly jacked. It's a worthy sacrifice to get the newest Erikson. Of course, I'll then have to send it to Missouri so my dad can read it too, but that's reasonable, I suppose.

Send it just before The Crippled God is released and hope he spills coffee on it.
