I think I persuaded Lucy to never post here again! :D And before you all start calling me over...I sent her off to a Twilight forum, where she will be free to enjoy herself with her own kind...it really will be better for everyone, her included (but especially, and more importantly, me). :D

@TT - best of luck, I am sure you will do well...remember, deep breaths and I'll send lots of positive thoughts your way. :p
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

Yesterday, I dropped a 2 litre bottle of coke on my brand new laptop charger. Unsurprisingly, this was not conducive to charging of said laptop.

However, today I managed to persuade the guys at the shop I bought it from that it was faulty when they sold it to me, so got a free replacement. Fraud ftw!

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

I take it you mean a graduate job, rather than a summer one? Either way, congrats but especially so if it is a graduate post!

Watching this über-cool, hilarious Ingemar Bergman-pastische from the 60s made by a couple of Americans with a good sense of humour. Especially there efforts to speak Swedish.

When a man lies he murders
Some part of the world
These are the pale deaths which
Men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear

Take me home
