The sun has been out and Spring would appear to have well and truly sprung... Which is all good.

Presumably there's also something that's been added to the water where I work too, as over the past few days I have been told, independently, by five different women (whose ages range from early 20s to mid 50s, how smokin' hot I've been looking recently. Which has done wonders for this 39 year old's self esteem...

I feel like I should have the "Theme From Shaft" playing whenever I walk down the office now...

If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Bottle of wine, favourite pyjamas, movies, done my nails. Normally a hideously dull Saturday night, but right now the bum groove in my sofa feels like coming home.....which I have!!! Ahhhh, home.....and proper cheese. Sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

Good :(

I don't know if you have the old wives tale in the US. In the UK, since cheese on toast is something of a popular breakfast or supper food, it has become a popular misconception that if you eat cheese before bed, then it will give you nightmares. Naturally, as a scientist, I have ruined the shit out of the mystery and in fact, it is if you eat anything before bed, it raises your metabolism and keeps you from the really deep dreamless sleeps, so you have the crazy dream kind of sleeps. But I have so missed "real" cheese while I was away. I just had a pile of Stilton and vin rouge. I'm definitely having nightmares tonight :p

Great party on Saturday night and a really easy clean up on Sunday :( And I am mostly packed and ready to move. I bought a new bed and awesomely comfy dining chairs too.
