So now I’m waiting to find out if Ment survived getting hit by a falling satellite filled with killer bees. I haven’t seen any recent posts…

Thanks Abyss.

Baseball would be much more exciting if the balls were pinatas filled with killer bees... in outer space. Maybe inside a satellite. Little risk of noninjury. Real skin and blood in the game....

I looked up, wondering why that ball was getting bigger...

Then it hit me.

Does he stick the microphone up his ass so you can really hear him straining (perhaps a tiny bit of gas or shit escaping)? Now that's a show! (So long as you have a close-up on the big screen... ideally via camera on the tip of the mike.)

First serious ride of the season on the new brakes.

shockingly, it did pretty well on the worst trail. And my legs don't hurt nearly as much as I'd expected them to.

Good long weekend overall. Went over to a friend's place for a BBQ last night, got home around 3 AM. Good times

I passed my exam with a 90% score. I'm a qualified patent paralegal! Posted Image

Means a little more as after years in the legal industry as a non-degree holder being treated horribly, I don't think I ever really saw myself with a professional qualification and membership of a chartered body, with more to come too in the next couple of years. I'm going to be a while wrapping my head around this as it means a lot to me. Bouncing off the walls of my home office this morning!

Great news, congrats!

Chad sounded pretty great.

They're guys having a great time and the crowd felt their energy. Great concert

By a band that write their own stuff, perform it live and play their own instruments

But hey, like Dexter says, it's cool to hate yah?

Especially when you're a serial killer!

"Nickleback gets dismembered during their performance by serial killers and audience volunteers" would certainly be an interesting stage show. Though they're probably not hated enough (yet!) for anything but simulations of it. During which they, being very professional, miraculously continue playing while they're being dismembered and tortured to death.

A bit like this amazing performance:

Quote

[The lead singer of Tool] slammed the fan to the ground and put him in a chokehold position. Impressively, he did all of this while still singing and didn’t even miss a beat. He later proceed[ed] to sing while mounted on the back of the fan for ten straight minutes before the roadies eventually led the confused stage invader offstage.

Maynard rules.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.
