My daughter got to experience her first Halloween where she could participate (last year we dressed her up, but she was only 4 months old), and we took her to a few houses (we won't let her have the candy), we just wanted her to have an experience in prep for future years. She seemed to love walking around and seeing all the decorations and costumes!

Such a beautiful morning to wake upto. Clear blue sky, bright sunshine, cool temperature, and a light breeze. Mornings like these make life worth it.

Hahahaha!

No, on the same site as the falconry centre is one of those outdoor pursuit places - archery, rifle range, climbing wall etc. It's a father and son who own and run it and the son is about my age - he asked me out for a drink. They kindly put kids archery on for us whenever we have a big event and apparently he's been trying to get five minutes to ask me since the summer when they were around for our classic car show. Haha! :)

Got married nearly two weeks ago (Thursday 12th October was the day). Feelsgoodbro

Yah, but you married someone you've been with for years and are already in love with. Where's the adventure in that?

She said no both times."

Ah, see, the adventure is in that she's also butterfuck nutty. Every day is fun.

Pretty sure I am drunk. My lips and body are numb for some reason, and a friend is coming to join me. Very happy.

I've already knocked two people off of my Christmas shopping list! (Yes, I'm one of those annoying types who finishes all of their shopping way before Christmas.)
I wasn't planning to start quite so early but I saw some things that I knew the recipients would love, and I couldn't pass that up. Seeing as I don't actually have all that many people to shop for anyway, I might actually be done before November ends.

I have already started too while we even don't know yet whether we do anything with Christmas Eve or not.

I have my Christmas shopping done already.

My sisters and I agree not to get each other anything.
And it's their turn to sort out the parents, I'll give them money towards whatever they decide is a suitable present.

I think the idea of it yes is sound, for keeping in touch with people you don't see. But as it exists today? It's a tools for making the world an even stupider place

I took my mom out to a local wine & food fair, for which I had free tickets through work, and the evening turned out to be quite nice. We actually bought a couple bottles of wine to take home. Good stuff ;)

FB has its uses (birthday reminder), as long as it's used in moderation.

Making me happy- first of at least 2 weekends where I don't have to take any work home.

Also, on Mon I get to see a friend from law school who's in town for her friend's wedding, whom I haven't spoken to (aside from extensive use of FB Messenger, speaking of, ;) ) for like 5 years.

Had a good time last evening with the abovementioned friend (as if we never stopped hanging out for 7 years), with only the mildest of hangovers this morning.

I may have (somewhat drunkenly) consented to her making me a tinder profile (like most people I seem to know, she is unduly concerned with my lack of personal life). So we'll see how that goes.

Patton Oswalt married Natty Gann (Meredith Salenger) and the wedding was officiated by Stef from GOONIES (Martha Plimpton)....which is pretty damned cool!
