...wait, wrong type of happy dance!

The owner of our local comic store is giving the family free passes to Supernova. I haven't been in years. There's just one condition - the new girl is dressing as Scarlet Witch and I'm not allowed to rant at her about how much I hate Scarlet Witch. So I've been focusing my rage towards Medusa instead. Hopefully, that'll be enough (it won't be enough).

I haven't wet shaved in... shit I don't know actually several years anyway.
I just run an electric trimmer over my face like once a week set at number 2 on its dial, whatever that length is. Usually friday evening and it does me well, wet shaving is a ballache that no-one needs. constant stubble is the easiest way to live.

It's the awards do tonight! Our falconry centre is up for Best Yorkshrie Attraction in a York radio station's awards, and there's 17 of us off to the ceremony tonight. No idea how well we will have done (we're up against some much bigger things in the top five) but just making the top five is pretty awesome. If you're in the top three you have to walk on stage and collect something. Wish us luck! :p

Left work at about 2pm for lunch and afternoon drinks with a friend visiting from Brisbane, was awesome to catch up and also awesome to finish work 3.5 hours early instead of 3.5 hours late for once!

So I've been back from Italy since Saturday.
Since then I've had both my boys in fits of laughter (consistently), had some quality time with Herself and generally had a wonderful time.
Also had a massive rebate from HMRC, broke the triple jump WR on Mario and Sonic Rio 2106 on the Wii U, made me dad grin from ear to ear with his new F1 wheel nut and my missus got offered a new job yesterday too.
My luck has turned (except for my mad Wii U skills, that's pure talent man)!!
I'm just waiting to run into one of those clowns to spoil it all!!

Not so much happy, more hilariously mortified. I had to go for a blood test and the Health Centre waiting room was full but very very quiet. Baby PigDog spent the whole time farting loud enough for everyone to hear!! I don't know what the appropriate response is to a baby farting non-stop in a room full of strangers. I laughed.

Had a similar experience, 17 members of the family over for thanksgiving....and my child takes that moment to shart her diaper as loudly and disgustingly as she possibly could. Add in the smell. Cue mortification and hilarity!

Honestly I find baby farts more hilarious than anything else when they happen publicly. Specially if they happen when there is lull in conversation.

I can just imagine the face of the parent present as their baby uses the temporary respite to do it's thing in peace.

Sometime ago, I randomly sent a bunch of people Black Adder Christmas cds.

Just saw one of those people mention it during a twitter conversation. It's still messing with their head trying to figure out why they got it and who sent it to them. Posted Image

It's even better sounding if they are still in the liquid shit stage. It's loud enough to turn heads in the midst of convo so it's truly amazing in quiet waiting rooms.

That's totally the stage she's at...noisy, liquid shart explosions.

Shaving used to be a most horrible chore for me. However, I've taken up wetshaving (i.e. using a safety razor and actual shaving soaps) for the past three weeks or so. Now, shaving has become a therapeutic exercise. It is so relaxing to lather up your face and run the razor over the skin, it should be used as a therapy.

Anyways, reddit may be full of idiots when you're on the main subs, but the smaller subreddits are full of golden advice.

Also, this photo I took of a waterfall now serving as my wallpaper is awesome, which has put me in a good mood since Thursday.

If you haven't already, stop by the Badger and Blade forums. Tons of shaving advice and a nice friendly atmosphere. I've been wet shaving for years, like you, I find it relaxing. And after the initial buy in costs, cheaper than multi blade disposables.

That's for 2019 when I actually graduate! I just wanted to be sure I could get into law school before setting my sights on it.
