Ooh, I saw that. Impressive. You built that thing? I struggle with our garden fence :p
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Tax return filed and accepted, it seems I have overpaid tax this year, and they're going to give it back to me.

Nikka coffey grain whiskey.
Proof that there is a God and he wants us to be happy. And drunk.

And you found this WEHRE?

Come on man, the LCBO never has that!

I MUST KNOW WHERE!

You can buy it at the state run liquor stores here. And I suspect I might have one or two while in Japan. It's an excellent grain whisky, though I still prefer the japanese single malts.

Hmmm, our liquor is run by the province in LCBO stores, and so Abyss would have the same options as me. I'd love to try it.

They have Nikko in stock, but just the pure malt whiskey, not the coffey grain.

I have a small collection of Japanese whiskeys... I picked up a couple in London, loved, then went on a buying spree when the NAS crisis hit last year. Now any time people travel I look into what's available... I was gunning for a 17yo Yoshi but they were out and the Coffey was all they had so my friend bought it for me AND IT IS GLORIOUS. Seriously for a blend this stuff is amazing, better than some of the 10 and 12yo single malts I've tried.
I'm afraid you're sol w the Lcbo QT. All they seem to have is the Miyazaki NAS that replaces the 12yo. It isn't bad at all tho. I maaaaaaay have bought the last couple of 15yo singles in TO last summer. Sorry not sorry.

Second hand reports (haven't had time to read the papers) claim that the El Nino is over, a La Nina is coming, and we are set to have an above normal monsoon with lots of rainfall. In the middle of this heatwave, June can't come fast enough

It tactfully omits the fact that the main character is the most violent of all women.

Well I'm not physically building it (I work for Transport Scotland and were managing it lol) and I second you on the garden fence lol

It is pretty impressive though :p

Attended a Jane Goodall lecture last night. That was a life goal. She's a fascinating and amazing woman, and having seen her live was a real treat!

Delighted with the win
Delighted

But

I had a.ticket should have been there.
Am heading for airport at 2am tomorrow morning, dublin airport.
So couldn't go.

That's the 9th game this season I've had a ticket for that I couldn't get too.
And we've won every one.
Shit

In fact the only game I've made this season was the carling cup final.
Which we lost on pens.

Maybe that's it......

Still. Unreal game of football, its games like that that make you love watching football.

That's the problem with international travel - it would be fantastic if it weren't for all the bloody foreigners. :)

I'm at it with the pencils again - it's my best friend's little girl's fifth birthday next month, and as they've just painted her room up for her I said I'd do something Disney princess related to go on her wall. She requested Elsa and Ana from Frozen and Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. About half way done here - I can't wait to see her little face! :)

Well my friend is off of the respirator now which is pretty huge. Still unconscious and unresponsive but breathing unaided is massive.
