New underwear, from Hong Kong! My mum just came back from a trip. Don't know why the underwear in Canada is so expensive yet crappy. It's all made in China anyways. Whenever family goes back to Hong Kong and they ask me if I want them to bring anything back, I tell them to go to the street market and pick up some cotton panties for me. I'm restocked for the next 2-3 years. Posted Image

Also, I cleaned my desk. Clean desk = uncluttered mind. It feels good.

Yeah, sometimes it doesn't take much to make me happy.

Xmas shopping for the gf trying to get it done early. Has anyone used/know anything about those Tesco Hudl Tablets? I know bugger all about tablets but the reviews look good and im thinking of getting her one. Shed only have it for casual use nothing heavy and I think it doubles as an e reader.

Life is pretty peachy right now. I've been jobless for 7 working days, cutting down trees in the garden and chopping firewood (I have my first ever axe (and a file for sharpening it which I've been doing while I watch TV)!) and seeing friends. Tomorrow I'm making chutney and demolishing ugly fitted wardrobes and on Friday I'm going to Munich for a few days. It's all rather dull (apart from Munich) but I'm terribly contented - Mr PigDog has even accused me of being "nice".

If you're there on Sunday and it's your thing, some of the major art museums let you in for a euro on Sunday iirc. Depends how nice a day it is too.

Good tip! They were. We had an awesome time although Sunday turned out to be really wet and after doing an exhibition we got bored of traipsing around in the rain so went to a beer hall and met some crazy Russians. I'm never drinking with Russians ever ever again. We went to Salzburg on Monday and lets just say that I wasn't feeling myself!

Edit: Hang on, is it me or does that read like I was sexually assaulted by Russians?! I had a terrible hangover!!

This is pretty goofy and I know a lot of you don't have FB profiles, but if you go here: http://what-would-i-say.com/ then it will auto-generate Facebook statuses based on previous statuses you've made, with occasionally hilarious results.

For instance:

Now that the little man is home, being a dad is awesome.
Monsignor:...Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.
Connor: [as the brothers exit the church] I do believe the monsignor's finally got the point.
Murphy: Aye.

This is an amazing thing. My favorites status created: "The iron fist of Saki" "lol you just gave up" "mines on the very best at killing their fellow survivors" "LOL yeah, just got a revolution, take over canada etc" and the bizarrely correct "Colonialism denial describes a factor in modern life"

It's been a rough couple of weeks, really needed this, thank you!

EDIT: this one pretty good in it's nonsense as well "everyone's a continuation of thought, accumulating in each moment" kind of poetic, even if it kind of means nothing. I love this thing

Erm,,,,,,, "Not sure I'm not getting to the mercy of statues to go play a floor piano duet with trepidation".

And this one is frighteningly predictable: "Hangovers are allegedly lovely they have to squint at tickets".

'Now we can beat a clown at a cat hole. '

I hope this one isn't predictable.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.
