this is just such a superbly awesome piece of music.
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So I went for a night out with an old friend yesterday. Started out in Gdańsk, took a train to Gdynia, walked along the shore to Sopot, a destination for parties for the whole area. Here's where things started getting a bit weird :p sat down for a beer at one place, then went on explore the town a bit, sat down for another beer in a club... mostly empty still at this hour. then we decided to mix things up a little and I THINK we added some heavier alcohols, probably whiskey, to beers. Here it gets kinda hazy. went out, got recruited by some girl to go to another place, had some alcohol there as well mixed up and... well. I have a 3-hour hole in my memory. Next thing I remember I'm walking around that town's streets alone, the friend is nowhere to be found, and I'm missing my e-cigarette and backpack. I have no idea how any of that happened. Found somehow a way home. Think I might have tried to walk home. Took the train instead. Oh, I also thought my phone was broken because the back casing wouldn't click in.

So today it turns out the friend just lost me somewhere in the crowd and went home (as his wife makes him get back at normal hours). He has my backpack, though not without damage - one of the beer cans inside broke. And my N7 hoodie absorbed all of it. Hope it's washable. The e-cig is still nowhere to be found, must've left it somewhere during the dark time. Also turned out the phone wasn't broken, just the battery was inserted upside down. After correctional work, it's working fine.


So, to sum up, quite a nice night out :p

Getting paid to come out to California, eat In and Out burger, and stay in a kickass suite with a kickass rental car for a week.

Its my birthday tomorrow and I booked saturday,sunday and monday off as the gf said she had plans. Its been amazing with a day of films and good food yesterday.

The only problem is Im becoming quite the fat bastard

I've just watched the weirdest cartoon ever: A short porn animation of Hansel and Gretel. The witch is humping the picket fence (made of dildos), trees are fornicating, gophers flood their tunnels with semen, Hansel uses his penis to pole vault through the witch's ceiling. Might as well give up internet after this. I don't think I'll ever find anything better.

Well, Friday night me & Mrs Tiste went up to Lancs from Cardiff for a family wedding. Great to see everyone again but yesterday (Sunday) we drove back down, hired a luton van, spent hours filling it with all our stuff, left early this morning, dumped our stuff at Mrs Tiste's granddads house, drove back to Cardiff, finished cleaning the house & now we are exhausted, homeless & you might be wondering whats making me happy, well its over for now!!

NB: Purchase of our new house not ready & we both have to finish work hence why we're still in Cardiff but sale went through so we had to move out hence why we're homeless. Living with friends for a few weeks...

Today, no matter what, I'm finally going to be free of this god-forsaken economics assignment! :p

If there is one subject on this planet which makes me lose sleep (mainly over its tendency to fly in the face of reality and fail miserably at applying to life in any meaningful way, but also over economics teachers/lecturers who delight in using different terms to refer to one concept in the readings compared to the exams/assignments) it is economics. I hate this crap soooooo much. Ugh.

But! Nearly finished. Hopefully never to take another course in the subject again. >.>
