Good friends, cold beer and Metallica makes for a awesome day.

Drunken happiness is also fantastic .

I went out last night and drank responsibly in Manchester, I feel fine today and just had a really enjoyable day having some Vietnamese/Japanese food and watching Potter.

I feel like I made personal progress this weekend. Not a single drop of alcohol has been consumed which has made the weekend seem a lot longer and considerably more productive. So THATS how normal people get so much done. Who knew!

Oddly, I had a similar experience, as we discussed on that fateful car journey. It felt strange not getting completely bladdered just for the sake of it.

Also England just beat the dirty convicts at Lord's for the first time in 75 years. This is good. VERY good ;)

Just got my signed copy of "The Name of the Wind" in the mail today.

All it cost me was some candy and 7 bucks.

Death Cake... sounds appealing.

I got an interview. Tomorrow at 9.30 in Warrington. Normally we get 3 weeks to prepare for it apparently, but they "forgot" to send me an email. Idiots, it's not the best start. So I won't get the job, but they cover travel expenses so I can't really complain too much I suppose.

My copies of Blood follws and THe healthy Dead have been found! My now reinstated friend found them while cleaning his appartment for the first time in 2½ years. At one point he couldn't open his front door more than 40 cm because of all the books, video casettes and cd's scattered all over the floor. Now I just have to confirm that the books really are the missing copies and all is bliss.

Thailand vs Liverpool? Hahah.

Am i no longer as furious as I was last night. This is definitely an improvement. I have also been doing some self-improvement crap, which hopefully will pay dividends in the long-term :p

The entire stadium was filled with Liverpool fans who cheered when Thailand scored. Not as much as they cheered when Torres was brought on, but still. I laughed.

EDIT: How did the interview go?

Meh, it was ok. Technical part didn't go well, but we shall see. Considering that they want 2.1 masters degrees, and I have a 2.2 bachelors, I consider it a testament to my cv writing skills that I got into the top 4 out of 300 ;)
